Frequent visitors getting blocked--what warrants it?

edited September 2025 in Pro Cuddling

I saw another pro cuddler on here mention that multiple visits to their page without inquiring for a booking may lead to a block. This has been happening to me as well and it feels like people have access to my pictures and energy without fully compensating me. Do multiple visits to a page and no attempt to connect warrant a block?

Edit: I'm going to look at this with a positive perspective that visiting my profile makes someone's day in a small way.

    It does if you think it does. It doesn't if you think it doesn't.

  • Any reason whatsoever is warranted.

  • @gem7 I want to give people the opportunity to browse and get a sense of what they want in a cuddle. But no method of weeding out those truly interested

  • To block or not is entirely up to you. There's no site rule or consensus about it.

    If you have a public profile on a public interwebs site then people are going to visit it. I can't imagine myself personally ever feeling the urge to block because of it, if others do then so be it I guess

  • @cancermoon97 as @pmvines said...you have a public profile on the internet, people are going to view it.

    Some people may never book, others may be working up the courage to message you, some may be saving up money, others see your post on the forum and look at your page (FYI, your picture currently isn't showing as your avatar on the forum).

    What you deem is block worthy is up to you but you may block potential clients in the process.

    @LadyVel

    Right , and I honestly either accidentally click on a profile or if I don't recognize the name or pic, especially if I see them post on here and I want to know who the person is behind the post and then I'm like well crap I just viewed their profile yesterday lol.

    If someone blocks because their profile was viewed without a booking then in all honestly, it says a lot about where their heart and their head is. But that's just my opinion in a sea of interwebs assholes so what do I know

  • I do understand the feeling of being viewed multiple times - even in 1 day - has happened to me. It gives a weird feeling. I think when it’s the extreme, it doesn’t feel like it’s from a forum search or accidental click with a fat thumb or even a memory lapse (I’ve probably been guilty of all those!).
    I tend to not block people for it but I imagine it happens way more often to Pros and it could be unnerving.

  • I find it very easy not to be irritated by whoever might be making multiple visits to my profile and not contacting me by simply never clicking on the Visitors tab.

  • @BlueIris
    True because for me, random words/letters on a screen don’t really register as a threat so I have no need to block.
    But my point is that I can’t speak for everyone and I understand that if it’s extreme, it could bother someone else.

  • Also if anyone knows how to get my avatar to show on forums please let me know.

  • Great insight thank you @g_w_t_w @BlueIris

    @cancermoon97 it's possibly the format of the picture. Try taking a screenshot of the picture you want to use (crop it to get rid of any unwanted screenshot, save, and re-upload it.

  • @LadyVel when you click on my name it appears but not sure how to get it to show in forum discussion

  • As I said, it's usually the formatting of the photo. All formats seem to work on the main part of our profile but not necessarily our avatar.
    By screenshotting it, it usually saves it as a different format. You can also use a photo editor and save it as a different format.

  • Everything depends upon how you think about it, @cancermoon97

    One could view the visiting as an opportunity to bring joy to someone at a distance, someone who delights in your presence in photos, and just enjoys reading your karma and/or profile description. Sure, there is no financial compensation, but one could find acknowledgement in being chosen to be visited....and perhaps some inner fulfillment in possibly uplifting someone's day :)

    @beaubliss very good point. :)

    Edit: it's also not just about the financial aspect but the chance to actually help people.

  • @cancermoon97 yay! Glad it worked. 😊🫂
