📌South of Carmel just off Highway One is the Big Sur River. Running down the Santa Lucia Mountains, through towering redwoods, great hiking abounds and when you're ready for a rest the River Inn in Big Sur has an amazing spot where you can enjoy a beverage and soak your feet, while the river does its thing
Walking anywhere can be the scenic route...
