Guys Night on the Homepage!

So normally when I see the featured pros on the home page it’s basically an all-female lineup. Lately though, mine has been showing ONLY men—like, 100% male pro cuddlers. Which is wild because half the time I can barely even find male pros at all!

Not complaining (love to see the guys joining us!), but it feels like the algorithm did a total 180. From “ladies only” to “boys’ club” overnight. My page has been this way for about a week.

Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe it's just my page manifesting gender equality on here? I thought it might be based on my search but I went to my search page and its all genders.

I am still not seeing male pros with much karma so idk if they are having success but we suddenly have a LOT more male pros!

  • For me, out of the 20 pros they feature on my homepage, 8 of them are men

  • wonder if I can be a male pro and be paid. Will there be women willing to pay?

@Jake_Cuddler This is a frequently asked and answered question in the Professional Cuddling forum. The short answer is, highly unlikely. It's supply and demand. There are many more men on this site seeking cuddles from women, so women are not in need of a paid cuddler for the most part. There'll always be one or two women who say they're an exception and they would pay, but for the majority of women, it's a no go.

  • Ok so are there really women who do this cuddling for a living? I met a female cuddler one time and she said she do this fulltime and that pays the bill

  • I do it full time in Florida. There’s a good handful of pros that cuddle full time

  • @BlueIris

And of the odd woman who does say they would hire a male cuddler, it's usually very allegorical and said for the purpose of trying to not seem discouraging. And even if they are being truly honest about it, even then it boils down to very specific circumstances with very narrow criteria.

Or it’s because some women really do want to hire a Pro male cuddler for the same reason a man hires a woman Pro. Because we want all the attention on us without having to do a damn thing, and hopefully enjoy a peaceful safe cuddle.

  • Could be based on your search history. I notice my homepage cuddlers usually from areas I've done searches in.

  • @g_w_t_w

I hear what you're saying, however there isn't even screening done for male pros in the same way that there is for women when they apply to be one. All you have to do is be willing to pay a monthly fee. So there isn't any really any reason for myself personally to believe that , wirth the exception of a couple male pros who I have personally met and could recommend, that there is anything about them that would be any more safe and selfless than the next person. Just my opinion.

  • @wilderdude they are all over the country. Idk. Maybe? I occasionally search male pros just to see if anyone is having success there. I would love to see gender be less of a dramatic split on here between clients and pros. And just the overall ratio. So maybe my curiosity skewed my home page.

@pmvines I kind of agree. I would hire a male pro. But it would be a situation where I knew the person, and wanted them to do well and overall balance out the ratio with pros. I'd love to see some male pros doing well and providing safe cuddle spaces! If you decide to go pro, @pmvines I am totally paying for a session and leaving you some killer karma. I think I already left you karma but I would update it! 🤣

  • @Jake_Cuddler as far as full time pros go, I know a few. I'm certainly not full time but I live in a relatively small city with a pretty small cuddle community. But it definitely supplements my income and makes it so I don't really HAVE to work full time. I work about 20-30 hours a week doing caregiving for kids with disabilities and probably 5-10 hours a week cuddling. But there are busy weeks and quiet weeks with cuddling. Not enough to quit my day job but I totally would if I could!

    @AlyLauren

Lol that's kind of you but I don't think anybody would pay me to cuddle with them, apart from snacks and coffee.

And I certainly do feel there are some good male cuddle pros and I've even met a couple and thought they were great people. And I certainly dont want to discourage men from being cuddle pros if that is where their hearts lead them. But as you know, and as @g_w_t_w knows from when she was a cuddle pro, it takes a lot more than a willingness to cuddle to be a good cuddler. And all that cuddle pros do to make things awesome for their clients is not nearly as easy as folks make it out to be. And considering that so many men are so hungry for cuddles and affection as is evidenced by the anthology of posts on the topic, the odds of finding a male cuddler who can and is willing to set aside their needs to make it all about you and your comfort and safety and hold that space and carry all of the emotional labor and not puch boundaries to the extent of making it justifiable to pay them to do so are pretty slim.

  • Hey everyone! I’m new so I don’t know how to respond to anyone but I was also thinking about going pro but I agree with blueiris. It’s not so much that women don’t want cuddles from guys, but there are more men willing to cuddle women for free so why pay. Unless in a situation like alylauren suggested where you connect with another member and they want to support you or maybe the connection is there. Also for males I feel as though most of the time it’s more of the presence of the other person. We’re as for females the trust has to be there for them to be comfortable and that takes more time then just seeing a male pro and booking them. You guys/gals would know more then me but just my two cents.

  • @pmvines love what you said

  • In my early days of using the site and learning about it I would routinely search for everyone, men and women.

After a search setting change for men, I would notice many profiles for men in the main page.

After searching for women I would only see women.

I assumed at the time, maybe incorrectly?, that the main page would show profiles in alignment with search history.

There's 8 Male Pros on my homepage rn. The most I've ever seen and I've never searched a male pro on here before.

  • @lovingspoonfull maybe that's it! Idk. I do random searches all the time so who knows haha

@Quel glad I'm not the only one!! 😂 I was starting to feel like it was just me lol

  • Is this even an issue ? Maybe CC is trying to help them since they pay a monthly fee and probably not booking sessions left and right ?

I mean we all know how to search for what we are looking for.

  • I always thought it was just the most recent people to join and have a picture up, no algorithm at all.

  • @Jake_Cuddler -- An analogy about the male pro is similar to someone trying to sell sand at a beach. There are hundreds of guys available to cuddle for free, flooding the inboxes of females. Even an established male profile with karma, full bio, and many pictures rarely gets a paying female client.

Not trying to discourage you from trying, just sharing my experience here (from a moderator's viewpoint)

@JasonCuddles - The homepage feed has an algorithm to it but the logic behind it is weird. It's mostly newer users, although some of them may have created an account and haven't been online in a few days. The main search feed is sorted by most recent login though.

  • @Sooson I don't think it's an issue. I think it's great! Just curious about where all the guys came from 😊

  • @AlyLauren My homepage has also been showing me all male pros lately.

  • @Erin_Elle_ I started looking at the profiles and almost all of them joined either last month or this month. So maybe it's featuring new pros. But why the sudden influx of new male pros? 🤔

  • A lot of people need extra income and want to earn it while doing something they enjoy.

  • I don’t usually look at the main page since it shows folks from all over the world, but I just checked and every single one was a guy. Even scrolling on for “more”.
    Not necessarily pros. Mostly enthusiasts.

  • Many of the newer male pros say they cuddle "everyone" so maybe that's becoming more prevalent. Although I saw a couple other ones that said they would cuddle women pros for free.

  • I saw a couple other ones that said they would cuddle women pros for free

How generous of them. Im impressed.

  • I guess trading free cuddles among pros is not a bad idea 😂 but weird to offer it up lol

  • edited September 2025

I'd definitely accept that trade, but feels weird offering it up, like asking someone to work for free, devaluing their time. I'm also a massage therapist, and when I'd like to hire a pro cuddler (or any form of bodywork, energy work, etc), I like to say I'll pay their rate and offer a massage session as the tip. So far everyone's taken that offer.

Also, as a new male cuddle pro, I hope I'm in everyone's homepage! 😇😅

  • Someone missed the point. A brand new made cuddle provider finds cuddle comfort gets the pro badge and advertises free sessions for female pros. If there's one gullible enough they just gave away a free cuddle session, they did not get a free cuddle session. Its a tactic I've seen several times
