Cuddle question - can a pro request to meet in person and ask the hourly posted rate?

Hi friends,

New here, wanted to ask a quick question.
I requested a pro for an appointment, and she agreed. she wanted to meet in public, which I was fine with and we scheduled. Later she mentions that she will do the entire appointment in the public space for the quoted 1 hour fees since it’s the first time. Meaning no cuddle but just meet and greet for the entire 1 hour. Is this normal? I did not find it logical and hence wanted to cancel. Then she mentions that I did not want to meet in public.

    I would understand she wants to do the whole appointment in public first. BUT that should be stated clearly when first booking.

    Also are you sure she meant no cuddle with the public appointment? Could still cuddle while out and about.

    The basic response is yes, she can ask for that. The real answer is you can decline.

    Meeting in public first is a good idea.

    But the post and your follow up suggest that communication is not clear here. You should openly and kindly discuss things until “pretty sure” becomes actual knowledge.

    People meet and cuddle in public. Even in coffee shops.

    I would decline it, more likely than not, unless you REALLY want to cuddle with this person. My opinion. Cuddling is a very expensive endeavor for most people, so asking the full cuddle fee for a required intro meeting just talking feels excessive (ie, I never even start the clock until we actually start cuddling - I don't charge cuddle fees to sit and go over rules and boundaries, lol). I think if the pro is the one requesting a meet and greet, it should be free or steeply discounted. I generally don't book with people I'm unsure about them. If I'm sure, I don't need a pre meeting in public. I don't even need a phone or video call. Sometimes a potential client requests a phone or video call, so I ask them to book a phone or video session. My free phone / video / public meets are usually limited to 5-10 minutes (like sometimes they want to meet in public for a few minutes before going up to a scheduled session - cool, but the session is scheduled, it's just a formality to ease comfort on their end, and the clock isn't starting at that point). 🤷‍♀️

    I agree with what @ubergigglefritz said here and do things very similar.
