@disneysamurai why do you feel its cringe? some people want a more traditional wife. knows how to cook, clean etc. not all but many in the west dont do that. buddy of mine married a gal from the phillipines, jusbt had a baby this year. seem super happy, she's very religious and takes care of household stuff while he works. not really a 'mail order' wife as courtship lasted almost 2 years where he would travel there every so often. his first wife was a disaster (hispanic like him, but born and raised in the u.s.)
