Message etiquette and management

Hi yall! Hope everyone's having a nice night :)

So I started and I have a bunch of messages, which I'm grateful for! But also, I work two other jobs and I'm not sure if it's common etiquette to respond to every single request/message? I have no intentions of ghosting or ignoring anyone, but also wow that's a lot of message management for also having two other jobs, lol. How do other pros manage their messages? And how do you keep track of who you have a booking with and times? For that, I've been using my already extremely detailed ledger I keep for the rest of my busy life, but if there are better ways of managing things, I'd like to hear your takes, tricks, and tips. thank you for your time!

    Sorry, I read over the FAQ before but it's all just a lot of info, lol. Found this part again:

    Help! I'm getting too many messages!

    New members (female enthusiasts in particular) sometimes receive a large number of messages soon after joining.

    Hopefully this isn't too overwhelming, and you can still make some good connections here. Maybe focus on just a few people at a time. One option is to send a brief reply to the others saying that you have too many messages to respond to at the moment and you might be able to talk some time in the future.

    You can also use the Mute function to avoid appearing in other people's searches temporarily (under Settings -> Privacy).

    But I'd still love to hear other people's experiences and methods of dealing with messages!

    First of all… CONGRATULATIONS on your first week of CC AND on finding the Mute Setting. That can be extremely helpful for an overflow of messages. 😊

    Also…

    There is a place that Pro’s can go to talk ONLY to other Pro’s and you might find some great resources from them.

    I’d also chat one on one specifically with experienced Pros who work in your area in order to gain knowledge about your demographic/pricing, messages, karma etc. @MissAdventurous is out there in your neck of the woods and has to navigate having “regular jobs” outside of CC and might have some great insight.

    Most of the Pros are willing to share some info for starting up and navigating those things.

    Also our own @CuddleDuncan did a fabulous job putting together some resources and help navigating for the New Pro.

    Reading through some of the forum pages might give you some added insight as well.

    It’s totally normal as a new pro to get smothered in messages so just take your time and answer when you’re able to. I would suggest putting at the top of your profile that you are a busy bee and that you will answer your messages when you have enough time!!

    I use my phone calendar and put people in with username and name.
    Then I can look at the site and see that person's username as an upcoming cuddle and it's easy to reach out as needed.

    A ledger is also good because you'll need good records for tax time (they do not send 1099 or any other tax forms).

    Multiple messages.

    When you're new, that's normal to recieve a lot of messages but it usually tapers down.

    If there is info you are having to retype over and over (like a set availability, specific questions, etc), having it written out in a word doc /note can help so you can copy and paste it.
