It depends on whether you want to cuddle for fun or money. I note you say "business prospects" in your title. If you are thinking of becoming a male pro who cuddles only women, I'm afraid your chances of success are somewhere between slim and none.
If you are speaking of being an enthusiast -- i.e. a non-paid guy looking to cuddle women only --- sure, that's no problem. I cuddle only women, and I have no difficulty keeping my cuddle calendar full. I've even had more than one tell me I could be/ought to be a pro. But the male/female ratio around here means women almost never need to pay for a cuddle. They are deluged with requests and can take their pick. As long as that persists, the "business prospects" for male pros seeking female clients will be vanishingly small.
@Cuddlebear777 Since your title mentions Business Prospects, I assume you are asking as a male pro cuddler, could you see success offering your services only to women. If that is what you are asking, I’m going to say, probably not. There are so many male enthusiasts (meaning not pro/cuddle for free) that it is unlikely many women would choose to pay a male professional. I’ve seen quite a few who tried it and had zero luck. You will probably get several more responses, but I doubt will add much, other than the thought that once you start charging a fee, there might be__something flaky about restricting your cuddles to only one gender.
Under the terms of this site, I don't believe a pro is allowed to cuddle only one gender. They agree to be accepting of all ages, genders and sexual orientations. However, judging by the lack of responses from many pros I've messaged, that is not happening in practice.
