The original post missed one blood group. Its called Bombay Blood group it is one of the rarest.
I dont know...I asked my doctor before and found it extremely odd that they didnt/dont keep that info....I cant donate because I am on a blood thinner.....so unless I pay I am clueless as to my type
My blood type is red. I always assumed everyone else’s was as well.
@RockRollCuddle I found it weird too.
Apparently there is a "blood type test kit" and it only takes a finger prick to do which could be an option? Or ask your doctor/lab tech if they can test the type during your next labs?
I use to donate regularly but havent for some time. My blood type is o+ 😊
I checked my blood type after falsely hearing that Type Os are less likely to develop serious illnesses if they test positive for Covid. I’m O-. Turned out it was not true. Up to now, I’ve never gotten sick from it.
