"Youngsters"

I tend to filter other people's experiences through my own filters. I'm also trying to not-do-that.

It's been mentioned in posts, that people see a lot of younger women joining the site (specifically the 18-20 age group).
I know that if I were 18, and I came across the "cuddling" community/concept, I would have joined just to have a less-threatening environment, to experience closeness to women, with less chance for entanglements and judgement.

To those just joining, in that age range, I started to wonder what motivated you to checkout this site and what convinced you to join? (be brave and jump in! grin)

Hey! I joined because of an experience at camp actually

  • Band camp?

  • I’ve had quite a few people younger than me (I’m 24) interested in a session. Honestly, it makes me a little weary as I’m used to dealing with anywhere from 30-50 year olds.
I’m not opposed to it as everyone needs a good cuddle. :) Very curious why there are younger people contacting pros as well.

    This one time...at band camp
    Made me chuckle

  • @anastasija I feel that! "Younger" though usually constitutes as no more than 2 years younger than me. I've never successfully set up a session with anyone in the 18-20 age group but 21-23, yep! I've noticed most are stressed out students, socially awkward or not inclined to keep friends, or finding their way through life and they simply want a shoulder to lean on and an ear to listen. Definitely relate because #milennialproblems.

  • @Catloaf That makes me feel better! I was worried they would be flaky. Yes, “younger” is relative because we aren’t much older than they are. And I totally agree with you about millennial problems haha.
