I wanted to comment without disrupting the flow of the game. This has been (and continues to be) a fun thing.
Here is the link to the thread: Word Association
I’m having fun too but realizing most of my associations are song lyrics and movie lines. My brain has fewer original thoughts than it once did.
Word association games remind me of childhood road trips with my English prof Dad!! He's 90 yrs old and still the punniest! 💕
@SweetPeaJen Nice one. 😄 ... I thought for sure it was going to go to (or through a list of) cheese types (like Cheddar or Mozzarella). Yours was a fun (and nice) surprise 😁
@GuyverGordon you mean when I said "whiz"? 😂😂😂
@GuyverGordon was gonna follow Goat with Tom Brady but she beat me to it with Cheese
@SweetPeaJen Yes 😄
@Sooson That would have been a fun one 😀
I know. But im slow AF
😂😂😂😂
@Sooson you beat me to (in the) box. 😂
@SweetPeaJen lol gr8 minds think alike.
I know it's Lilo & Stitch but it rhymed so I went with it.
The next word is screaming at me (at least the next one I think will show up after mine)
That wasn't it ... 😅 This game is so unpredictable
(was it not a StarCraft reference?)
Yes, it was. But i was certain the next word would have been "rush"... (Zerg rush)
... no worries though. It is all fun 😁
@MTex @SweetCuddler33 Awesome job finishing the deck 😄🃏
Guys this is getting old we are recycling. I mean fuck we already mentiond boy George and culture club twice not to mention diamonds and pizza Maybe we need to recruit more participants
@GuyverGordon Of course! 👍🏻👍🏻😁 I still would love to do more song lyrics. We did pretty good with Imagine. Maybe some Johnny Cash? 😉
Edit: @Sooson I posted my message before I saw yours. Maybe we can do themes for the word association. My first vote is for song lyrics.
@MTex not a bad idea. Im all for it
@Sooson okay, sounds good we're going to have to get a word that can get us started.
On it
I think we got it started. Yummy yummy yummy from Ohio Express
Edit: On second thought maybe song titles???
At this point, my game is to get the most unique string of unused words before a repeat. (Don't ask me the score, i haven't been counting 😄)
I wonder how many times cheese has been mentioned.
Should I have added a "no responding to yourself" rule? Oh well, too late now.
I guess I would have broken it when I said "echo" twice but that had to be done.
I was being silly 😊
Silly
😜
