@Shan79 - you just joined so why the impatience? Ignore the offensive messages you are receiving and do your own search. You can be in control. Did you do a search for your area? Just click 'Cuddlers' and enter your search criteria. You could try searching for gay guys or other women if you are concerned about straight guys. I would also change the last sentence in your profile, Just put something like "messages seeking to pay for services will be ignored".

" I've met seven different enthusiasts (non-paid) cuddlers through this site. Also, a lot of pros. I don't regard myself as a "poor" anything. There are reasons to prefer free cuddles to paid ones, and different but equally valid reasons to prefer paid ones to free ones. I'd recommend that newbies spend a little time here and learn the lay of the land before throwing shade and laughing at people they know nothing about.

@Shan79 Yikes. That's a pretty subtle dose of vitriol, and that's coming from someone who is a bit feisty herself and usually tells it how it is. As stated by @quietman775, you should allow yourself to have a more open mind. You wouldn't say the same thing about massage therapists or people who have a bit of knowledge about reflexology, and how to manipulate the body thus they can charge for their services as a passive income. Like massage, there is a need and we fill it, albeit it's a significantly smaller community. Pros can charge because they believe they have dedicated enough time and effort to this hobby, and have had many experiences that shaped into a passion.
Many of us have also had training on consent, we can facilitate breathing exercises, massage and there are those of us who also work in fields like healthcare, psych, or medicine that can correlate with the experience. I believe there is one pro here who is either a doctor or a scientist, can't remember whom tho.
Presumptions like this aren't welcomed at CC and may even hinder your ability to find a good cuddle partner who is genuine.
