NFL. Simply prefer the vibe of the Pro league.
It’s hard to keep up with college football because there’s so many teams and leagues but it’s definitely more wreckless than the NFL
I prefer NCAA. They seem to have less “drama” than the NFL (at least I see less drama from them in my news feeds).
NFL by far. Players usually not in college very long, love seeing players develop over a decade or more in the NFL. Also college football has crazy mismatches at times, like it will be Ohio State vs the sisters of perpetual Mercy and Ohio State will demolish them 80-0 or something lol.
College is more about football, and less about social issues than the NFL.
How 'bout dem Pats?!?!
I voted 4. I'm done with the NFL. Who needs fantasy football when the league itself is just that? people and coaches switching team every 20 minutes. I lost interest few years ago but was still kinda sorta following and watching playoff games, now not even doing that.
Gambling has really turned me off the both products. It's just everywhere and unavoidable.
Go UCF Knights!
Growing up and living in LA all my life, we have so many and pro teams that I never ever thought about watching college ball.
The opening post says "college or pro?" Many of the colleges might as well be considered pro now considering many players make a lot of money. Definitely NFL for me. I'm from an NFL city so I have a rooting interest, and went to a college that never had any football tradition so I don't have much of a rooting interest in any college team. I prefer local high school football to college football because I know some of the players and their families.
I'm a ride or die wolverines fan 💙💛〽️ I got to attend the spring game.
@graceangel I lived in Ann Arbor in the late 90's. I went to a couple games. was fun.
Personally NFL fan because I went to a university that wasn't in a major conference for anything. Don't quite get how strongly and how often people get really wrapped up in NCAA athletics for places they have no association with beyond that.
I could never get into pro sports for whatever reason. I let my mood for the week depend on how 18-23 year old kids play sports. Go Cats!
I follow several NCAA & NFL teams.
@graceangel will always have a fondness for michigan because of jim harbaugh (49er fan)
@g_w_t_w we know you love the texas longhorns lol
@snugbuddy funny you mention that, this is a topic of controversy right now

IMO, seems bad to allow them to profit like this, but my thought is, why not? High school kids allowed to be musical performers, actors, etc. I would say just have them have to comply with work permit requirements if they are a minor. When I was in high school, as a minor I would periodically have to renew my work permit which was given like a month at a time, it involved me taking a form to each one of my teachers and having them write down current grade in class and signing it. Take that whole form to the front office and they issue work permit which I'd have to take to my employer (mcdonalds at the time) that they would need to keep my employment legal. There were major restrictions, no more than 4 hours per school day, no later than 10pm and an overall limit of hours/week that I don't remember.
@wilderdude lol either you have a great memory and/or you’re being sarcastic because, well you know I’m a big fan of any team playing them. The only way I could possibly root for them is if my G-Son were to go there.
Well I thought I might add to this thread😂
My feeling has always been if you have had some kind of involvement at a public or private college, and get caught up in the pageantry of the college game, well it can easily become a passion ! ( Me = Ohio State)
And on those autumn Sundays you get to see some of those college stars go on to the NFL, possibly on your fav team(s) ( Again Me= Cincinnati Bengals)
If you've met me or been to my home you know I have a sight problem with sports memorabilia 🤣 I love the game of football whether its playing as a kid, coaching my sons teams, attending countless games including National Championship Games for Ohio State and Super Bowls for my beloved Bengals and all the stuff / drama that goes with it. Around these parts its a topic of conversation daily (or hourly lol ) This could be a dangerous thread for me 🙄 I am the 🏈 FANatic in Fan!!
@g_w_t_w great memory. I remember stuff from when I was in kindergarten. Obv being sarcastic, I remember that conversation vividly.
@wilderdude Well, good to know. It’s crazy that I have vivid memories from age 4 on up. So many highly detailed visualizations from very young. But definitely struggle with things that happened an hour ago. Aging and cognitive function/decline are a real thing. I’ve just started noticing it more in the last few months. Stress in my life isn’t helping. But I make a picture in my mind of what I need to remember and that helps. The older the memories, the deeper and more lasting.
@wilderdude idc what anyone says about him. I think Harbaugh was fantastic. if ppl need to invent new rules every year to combat you; that alone speaks volumes I loved his mantra of attacking adversity with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind. him and his brother are amazing. people keep speculating about his brother come coach the team. I'm always like. is this even a question??? this seems the right answer to me. I've listened to speeches he'd give at the staff banquet for big house staff. some of his harbaugh'isms were quirky if not a tad eccentric at times. he had lots of flavor. I grew up watching Michigan at the rosebowl every new years day just about. We'd go to this town for the day and while waiting to be seated for dinner watching. I love it. this is my team, and I'm for them win or lose.
technically, if i were to have a nfl fav. it'd be ravens because i am -obsessed with ravens as in the birds.. but.. i mean.. the minute they renamed that team to ravens i was like.. well.. that's the team for me i guess... but.. i'll never not back hometown teams. so go lions... who totally been killin it. if they win a super bowl; this town will GO CRAZY YOU HAVE NO IDEA.... we already have showed up and showed out for the draft.. and last year everyone traveled around with the team for away games. the hype is real around here.
Oh my gosh, right now I'm luvin' the NFL 😂
Who Dey?
