My point, not that some people care, is that by putting labels on the community, we are being talked-down-to. It's old. It's boring. It's wrong. It's transparent. It's just more, "blah, blah,** IT IS 100 Percent, blah, blah, blah**". And that wasn't directed at ANYONE in particular because it applies to anyone attacking this community. ... moving-on ...

Your experiences might be valid, but it does not speak for everyone here. I have served anywhere from 100-200 sessions over the last 2 years, and I can confidently say the ONLY time I had problems was when I encountered folks with this same closed mind view.

Yes, they are banned because they are not treating cuddling as platonic. Which implies that there is such a thing, otherwise there would be no basis on which to ban them.
I just had a cuddle today that had no sexual or romantic aspect in it at all. It's not very convincing when someone tries to contradict my actual experience.
If your argument is that some people don't approach cuddling as platonic, I would agree. If your argument is that no one does, that's a very strange thing to say to a group of people who experience platonic cuddles regularly.

There probably aren't even 20 active people in my part of the country on CC and I don't only advertise here if that's what you're thinking. I'm here to also participate in and read the forums. Because my city is not busy on this particular website I have only had a few meetups which in turn ended up being coffee meets for consultation and the clients screened out or never ended up actually booking - I do not charge for that, so there is nothing to pay. I have better luck finding potentials elsewhere, such as local classifieds ads in the health section, which I have been really lazy doing, admittedly.
Funny thing is how every now and then someone pops up with very similar hostile tactics, language, and syntax, gets banned, then randomly another pops up. Either the trolls are prolific breeders, or it is only the same select few creating multiple accounts. Oops, I already said no soup, oh well...

@ron4u I think it might have been the all caps, 100%, and multiple exclamation points which made it sound like you had a little bit more than an opinion.
And, for the record, any pro cuddler who is doing any type of regular business is on multiple sites and advertising in multiple other ways. There is nothing unusual about that. Stick to your area of expertise, please and thank you.

Thanks for all the harassing messages though, I suppose it isn't enough to simply address your disdain for me on the forum you also feel the need to back it up with personal messages lol. Differences of opinion is one thing, but what you are doing is harassment. I truly hope you are only an internet troll, and not like this in real life. If so, you have a very lonely road ahead of you that cuddling will not fix!

Anyway, furthering discussion as was originally intended, I have one more misconception to add to the piece, which I think is #18. I wonder if we can make it to 20+, and I'm hoping for an even number down the line!
From @UKGuy, and his point that anyone can become a professional - which is true, but there is a lot of work that goes into it, and it is not for everyone. Not to mention, it's more than being able to say "I could cuddle someone all day".
To get discussion back on track would still love to hear well-structured opinions about misconceptions, and how you debunk them.
