I love Halloween! Dressing up in fun costumes are some of my favorite memories. (Currently and historically!!)
And now that I’m old… I get to ask kids if they want candy without it being creepy 😂
@TheFunCartel i don’t think we know WHY you think Halloween is the most underrated or what you love about it.

@sillysassy Because it is creative and fun and there isn’t religion or consumerism to answer to beyond buying a bit of candy. And it enhances my birthday month.

Spooky season is year-round in my circle 👻 as a dance teacher/music & theatre nerd, I've always been super in to dressing up and going all out.
I'm doing a fun week of "Halloween Hug-or-treat" at work next week. I'll be dressed up a bit in various punny/niche ideas every day, and any of the students who come in costume will get candy, a hug, or both if they desire! Some of the students are already really jazzed and fully planning to exploit it lol
For Friday, I'm doing an updated version of my Copy Cat costume (photo on my profile). It was/is super popular, and it's a fun work-appropriate option.

I will send you a pic of my daughter who won a costume contest as Dio from the anime Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. She rocked it.
@sillysassy well, these are college kids in this case, but still an awesome lesson haha. I used to do similar when I worked in elementary schools for that very reason! Dance Is an excellent medium for teaching consent and autonomy!
