Real amazing friendships can come from this

  • I have a couple of true friends who I met on CC. They’ve been there for me when I needed help quite a few times. We’ve had many in-person cuddles but the friendship goes beyond that. I have told them how much they mean to me. Both of them very recently. I hope they know it’s from my heart.

  • @MausHaus - Your negative perceptions are clouding your judgement. Me? "Spewing venom"? I don't know that anyone's ever been more dramatic in "describing" me, but I guess if it helps you feel better! I don't NOT "like" using this site. It's the ignoring of common problems most of us have had because someone else wants to ignore the "less sunny side" of it. I've met SEVERAL great cuddlers on this site in the YEARS I've been here, but there shouldn't be anything "wrong" with addressing the other side of the coin. You don't know me , but you're committed to your misinterpretation of my intentions and there's no reason for me to attempt to change your mind.

It's sad that you think it's okay to come to a "place like this" and project your venomous outlook onto me- A total stranger you'll never meet! It honestly says more about you than it does me! 🤷‍♀️

  • I have met some amazing people on here for sure.

And a few of them have become trusted friends that I know will be with me long after I’m using this site.

People I never would have met if not for the community here. And for that I am very thankful.

  • New to this world of cuddles and fun, I just adore meeting new people and want to thank all for being genuine. This site has the ability to connect many big hearted people and I love that I am doing what I love. I hope to never stop learning from all of you and hearing your stories of love and compassion. My hope is that this site never get weighed down by people who mean it no good or have the wrong things in mind about it.

    “No sexual garbage”??

🤔 *checks to see how long the OP’s been on the site when the OP was made

Ah. A few months. Give it time. . .
Or give us your secrets in self defense.

*disclaimer: Before y’all flip your wigs and turn me into another human piñata like I saw some of you do to another woman on this thread for having rational thoughts based on personal experience — I’ve met some really cool people here, too. That’s not who I’m talking about. But, I’ve also met an insanely disproportionately large number of men here who either don’t know or don’t care what the words “platonic” and “no” mean, and turn the encounter into a criminal situation. And we don’t live in Disney World where the villains are overtly obvious, so don’t blame people for not having better vetting procedures. This is a platform that’s going to attract predators looking for vulnerable people and situations to prey upon. It’s a fact of life. Don’t dismiss that observation as mere killjoy. It’s a warning to be optimistic while also grounded in reality of the inherent risks involved with meeting strangers on the internet. Giving people a false sense of safety in any situation, but especially here or a place some may least expect it because of the mutual agreement we go into the encounters with, is a disservice to fellow women. Don’t shame anyone for speaking up about the ugly side of humanity every woman is bound to encounter here (and in the world) at some point if she actually meets men in person.

  • @KaraBear1980 im relatively new as well and am enjoying the platform as well.
Like you say it allows us to find beautiful souls willing to share the sincere connection of kindness and respect possible from humanity .
there may be some bad with the good but as long as we Keep that positive and open mindset in the face of the weight of disappointment we may see that future of cc we hope for !

  • @TheMidnightOwl as a man looking to connect with others here for what cc intended and coming in contact with the fear of the unknown from those i try to honestly just want to learn more about, i agree with you.

Ultimately Safety is a personal responsibility and not something to take lightly. We each must take ownership and a hard look at what we need to protect our individual safety anywhere in life , but communication about awareness from other like minded people is not something to be shunned.

Speak truth without judgement and let others determine what that truth means to them . “so to speak” ☺️

  • I have made some friends on this site, but then I threw up and felt better.

Seriously, if you put in some effort you will make friends on this site as long as you realize some people you think are a fit for you do not reciprocate your vibe. Not everyone is a good friendship match as much as you want them to be. But get out there, go to a meet and greet, or a cuddling event and be yourself. I am still in awe of some of the positive experiences this community has provided. But I made the effort to engage, show up, and just verbalize to others the essence of FunCartel. And surprise they talked back! They said “Sucks to be you”. Yes, you get me.

  • @TheFunCartel I see your error. In the effort just verbalize to other the essence of yourself you left out the first part of you ... the The.

Like anything, you’ll definitely find connections and like minds that’ll transcend whatever reason you met in the first place.

I know for some it’s a business/way to make ends meet, a combination of that and a genuine effort to bring well meaning into other’s lives, or you do it for the giggles. But when you click, you click. Some people find new friends at work, at the store, someone that is working on your house you resonate with, and you end up meeting your best friend, night out buddy, future spouse, etc. The potential is endless.

Obviously everyone treats this and anything else they do as strictly professional only, but I say the best attitude is to not knock anyone else for when work bleeds into genuine connections, and everyone has the right to embrace or reject it. I’m glad to see when good people meet in ways they’d never otherwise meet connect over a shared desire or interest that isn’t typically tapped into. The best feeling.

@MausHaus Thank you so much for sharing your feelings! I am genuinely excited for you that a positive real friendship with someone who can be present to share that way came about so quickly!
It brings me hope that I might find someone to connect with from my time here too .

  • I've been on this site for a few years now and while I've had some amazing sessions, some heartfelt conversations with the pro's I've cuddled with I can't really say I consider them friends in the true definition of the word..Because both of us agreed to x amount of time spent together for x amount of dollars. That's something you don't do to a friend.Lets say I schedule a session with a pro,we agree on a day and time. I show up to her home or she shows up to mine, asks for the donation and I say to her we're friends so lets do this session for free..I really don't think that would go over too well..If/when the time comes that a pro or client starts considering the other person as a true friend(doesn't except payment to see them)or take it from a pro/client relationship to and actual dating relationship then they need to have a serious talk and go from there.I know that scenario goes against the rules but lets not hide our head in the sand and act like it's never happened. I've made some great memories with some of the pros I've had sessions with, deep conversations, holding each other in silence. But if the time ever came where one of us started to consider the other as a friend and not just a client or pro relationship then that's the day we have a long conversation and go from there.

  • I had a good friend. I miss so much

  • I met a cuddle buddy here. An enthusiast. We cuddled weekly for about 2.5 years. She moved out of state and my life has not been the same and. Still recovering. lol

Of course, we are still in touch — just not in person. For that one friendship alone, I will always appreciate this site. And there have been many other positive experiences with some truly wonderful people. Grateful for those, too.

I can’t say whether it’s rare or common, but I have to agree with the topic of the post — real amazing friendships can come from this. 🙂
