Public Cuddle Spot Ideas

Hello cuddlebugs! Love the discussions here, first time poster.

I am an enthusiast (non pro) and I like to do first cuddles in public. If it feels good to all, then I’m up for a more private setting.

We have a movie theater here that has a few full-size couches, which are perfect for a first cuddle. And in the summer, we could meet at a park and bring blankets and pillows.

Any other ideas for public cuddles?

I’ll put the link to the theater we have here, to help others in my area - please do the same if you have a specific spot!

    Botanical garden or a zoo would be a dream cuddle 🤩

    A cozy coffee shop with bench seating aaaand if I knew the person well and there was some trust established between us I would be open to trying a brewery or winery

    I have had some great public Cuddles in the lobbies of nice hotels. There is an AC Hotel near Reston town center that I stopped at on the train on my way to Dulles that has a lobby bar with myriads of comfy L shaped couches and gorgeous fireplaces where for the price of a few coca colas my cuddle partner and I were able to snuggle and chat for a few hours while I waited for my flight. Have done similar in other locations and it’s my preference because I like to chat and sometimes play board games and they frown on that in the movie theaters lol

    DMV, sheriff station, Subway sandwich, crosswalk intersection next to the guy doing the acrobatic sign flipping,, Marshalls, Ace hardware, garage sale couches, urgent care waiting room and a 7-11 parking lots but be aware there will be competition.

    Any suggestions of lobby hotels with couches in Manhattan? Especially ones where front desk wouldn’t be on “ your radar” at night. Ty all!

    I'm confused with public cuddling in . . . what even is that? People are talking about hotel lobbies, do people really lye down and cuddle on the couch in a hotel lobby? seems very odd to me. Most people don't even do that with significant others.

    @SnugglyJonny Public cuddling is usually in a sitting or leaning position on a couch or bench for instance. Unless you are lying on a blanket at a park for example. It's easy to cuddle on a couch in a lobby without calling attention.

    I've had cuddles on a plane & in a moving car. Basically anywhere human touch is allowed can be a public cuddle. From a hug, holding hands while leaning into each other, interlocking arms while your heads rest against one another, arms wrapped around each other are all easy to do in a public place.

    Edit: Interlocking arms, hands, & legs at a movie theater is also easy on the sofa seats.

    @SnugglyJonny good question! In a public cuddle after we’ve done all the leaning and holding hands poses in the lobby I like to take turns laying our heads on one another’s laps. I love having my hair played with and just relaxing and when it’s my turn to be sitting upright I love giving scalp massages and beard scratches. A public cuddle is not the same as a hosted private cuddle but sometimes circumstances and budgets and safety and whatever else dictates that a public cuddle is what is called for!

    I’ve had some great cuddle sessions at our local hot tub rental places (there are two in my area). Some have sauna/hot tub combo spaces. All are private rental areas, but open air so there’s definitely public feel to it. 🤷‍♀️

    @MTex and @VitaminJ . . . thanks! I'm not sure its for me as it took me a while to get comfortable in the private sessions i did. Not sure i would be able to do that in public. I guess I'm just weird like that, lol.

    There’s a spot In Manhattan at the pier I know about and it’s the perfect cuddle spot
