First time reply asking for discount

Have anyone ever had someone asking for a discount for being a first time customer?? My whole thing is why are you even on here.

  • Its not an unreasonable question for a client. And its not unreasonable to rezpond "no, I dont discount my fee".

  • Some are just the kind of people who ask for a discount on everything. Others are bad actors testing your boundaries. But people who are genuinely struggling for money very rarely announce it upfront.

It's not a red flag in itself, but the response to your firm but polite 'no' might be.

  • Thank you so much. Still trying to figure out this site

  • Wondering about discounts for multi-hour sessions isn’t unusual, for example….but the request for a discount in general is, especially from a first-time client.

My sense is that there should be a rationale behind the request. A disabled veteran on a fixed income, or someone who wants to see you twice a month for 3 months…..something that makes sense to you, even if the request is denied.

But just a general request as you’ve described is at least an orange flag, if not a red one

  • Got it. Thank you hun

  • Offer layaway and cuddle them after 90 days.
