I guess I would say I’m the sleepy big spoon. Most of the time I do doze off as the big spoon. Several times we both doze off as the sound machine continues pumping out that rain on a tin roof sound. And as the big screen tv is showing a light rain or a nice fireplace burning . 🔥
I'm here for the annoying spoon. Love it. As long as these conversations are happening while we are actually spooning. 🤣
I am most likely to doze off in the spooning position than in any other. I think it's because of the stillness & quiet. I love being little spoon.
I am generally and by necessity the big spoon just because at 6'5" and 300 lbs I am literally the big spoon. Although it is amusing when a woman tries to snuggle in from behind and finds her faced pressed into the middle of my back, and/or her arms struggling to reach around my shoulders. On the opposite side, I'm about as close as you can get to being safely hugged by a bear (with a lot less hair).

🥄 Inner spoon and outer spoon? 🍙 Seaweed & rice ball-- no sometimes the rice is on the outside, and I don't want to be called seaweed. 🥔 Potato skin & toppings? No, skin isn't right. Tasty, but not a good nickname. 🍬 Wrapper and candy? But then people might think of Snoop Dogg instead of cuddling.
I dunno, I think "big spoon, little spoon" does it best.

Only analogy I can come up with is "saucer and teacup", but that doesnt feel right.
