Hey there! Big pod enthusiast here, figured I’d see what the cuddle tribe is in to. I can use some new podcasts to check out. Bonus points if you can link a specific episode you liked. All genre welcome!
I’ll start with this funny impressionist one https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/armchair-expert-with-dax-shepard/id1345682353?i=1000728080251
I’m always up for some bonus points - this is my favorite podcast. Really could be named HeavyWait, cuz it’s about long held regrets that can finally get resolved. They do months or years of work on each episode and most are very satisfying. The early seasons are even better imho - they’re all on Spotify now https://open.spotify.com/episode/0LKiWrrqGBYVgYxQ4qKLyS?si=d2SH5JR5TPGuMYhn3amGqQ
@SoftnSmiley ok it’s downloaded for consumption, thanks for pointing it out! The episode you shared is pretty short too, which is honestly appealing. I listen to some and they are like 2-3 hours long lol. Thank you!
Oooh I was just about to recommend Armchair Anonymous but I see you are already aware of Dax and Monica. I too am seeking some more good funny pods.
Berlant and Novak. Comedy with zero politics. Very L.A.
@PeopleLikeUs I watched the short, I’ll check them out! @VitaminJ let’s see I like Pete Holmes pod You made it Weird. He’s a comedian that veers into spirituality. Comedian Stavros Halkias Stavvys World is pretty great. Marc Maron WTF podcast has been going for a long time and has tons of interesting guests, including Barack Obama which is incredible. Nate Bargatze has a pod called Nateland which I honestly don’t listen to but should. Those are a few off the top of my head
I loooooove Distractible with Markiplier, Bob, and Wade. They’re a good mix of silliness, humour and very thought out intelligent conversations. Love it 😍
@Sheena123 oh cool I’ll check it out!
One of my favorites is RISK! (Unrelated to the game). It's a storytelling podcast, and super unfiltered (read: NSFW) so be aware of that if you're sensitive to language and difficult topics. They're usually pretty good at giving content warnings in the descriptions, though. The stories range from funny, to profound, to heartbreaking, to infuriating. It's certainly never been boring! https://www.risk-show.com/
Any of the TED talks podcasts are good options as well! They have feeds dedicated to things like science, tech, medicine, education, etc. https://www.ted.com/podcasts
And if you enjoy zany serial fiction, Welcome To Nightvale is a long-standing favorite! I've also found some amazing new favorite bands from their Today's Weather 😂 https://www.welcometonightvale.com/
@cuddlefaery great suggestions, I appreciate it!

If you like personal growth! Peter Crone has been a huge catalyst for me this year. Would love to know if anyone else is a fan of his. 💓
@Erin_Elle_ interesting never heard of him! Do you ever listen to Huberman Lab? Yes I know there are unsavory allegations about him. The information from his podcasts have been life changing

Do you ever listen to Huberman Lab?
@coolrunnings12 First I’ve heard of it. I’ll check it out! Thanks! 😊
