Christmas gift

What’s a good gift to get a cuddler as a little bonus or tip?
What would you like to receive if you are a pro ?

  • It depends greatly on the person, there is no blanket answer.

Cuddlers are just like anyone else you may know in life via business or pleasure---an acquaintance, friend, or family.

Just be sure that you know them well enough that you don't create an awkward situation. Keep it simple; nothing outrageous or inappropriate. Give a gift that you would appreciate receiving if the roles were reversed.

For example, I give my mail carrier a gift every year at this time that I put inside the mailbox.

If you don't know your cuddler well enough to know what they would like, don't get them anything.

If you would still like to get them something, make it inexpensive and generic. (In London the conventional cuddle gift is nice chocolate.)

Alternatively, many experienced professionals operate informal schemes to offer free or low cost sessions to people who need cuddles but can't afford them. If they do, you can contribute. (Such clients can be identified by patterns of behaviour, mostly commonly very occasional 1-hour sessions. People who ask for discounts or tell long stories about being broke are never as badly off as they claim.)

In most countries other than the USA a tip would be weird or offensive. But a 'Christmas bonus' might be a normal and appropriate thing.

  • In December and anyone I know and see I give either Coffee or Sephora gift cards. Depending on the person

  • I would love weed is the best medicine and good pizza with shakes 😋

  • Socks 🧦! Visa gift card for gas ⛽️ or some type of coffee ☕️ spot gift card
When in doubt a nice Christmas 🎄 card with your gesture inside is always sweet

  • I wouldn't want a cuddler to get me anything for Christmas...
If you don't know your pro well enough and still want to give a gift I'd stick with a cash tip or 10$ gift card to use at a local grocery store or gas station.

You took the words out of my mouth, @CuddleDuncan 😅

If you don't know them well enough to know what they'd like, or even to feel comfortable actually just asking them, then giving a large gift would likely be awkward and uncomfortable. Think about what you would gift any other service provider you interact with - bank tellers, mail carriers, doctors, teachers, hair stylists, etc. Most often it'd be something relatively inexpensive and generic: coffee/gasoline gift cards, a small snack/sweet treat, a heartfelt card.

I'm making cute little punny cards and attaching Hershey Hugs & hot cocoa packets to them for the acquaintances I want to thank & treat (a little "hug", something warm, to ring in a sweet new year 😊). I've written little silly individualized limericks for people on the past and printed them on nice paper as a gift.

As a teacher, probably my favorite gifts to receive were handmade cards & items I could use in the classroom - new dry erase markers, a fun CD of music (those still exist, right?), a cute hair accessory (I was known for them), a giant hand sanitizer bottle that the kids bedazzled 🤣 You could do similar for your cuddler - a Spotify gift card, some essential oil blends, that bedazzled hand sanitizer 😉

Something sweet & useful is the way to my heart, so Starbucks & gasoline gift cards were very much appreciated too! But most everything was $10-20 or less, else it felt weird.

  • I give pros I like a gift card that entitles them to cuddle me for free. None of them have ever used the card though.

  • @TheFunCartel I mean, I wouldn't turn down free cuddles, but then I'm no longer a pro 😂

  • A cuddler brought me some chocolate once, and it was so kind 😊 another brought me a sincere thank you card. I think if you're not sure, something generic is great, like holiday chocolates or a gift card. Or nothing at all! It's not expected.

When I worked at a school a student once brought me an orchid.....the poor thing didn't stand a chance. Don't bring them an orchid 😅

  • A cuddler brought me some chocolate once...

@PrincessSummer , did you cuddle Forrest Gump?

  • @TxTom he was talking about a really long run he went for 🤔

  • @PrincessSummer , I understand that. If someone gave me some shoes for Christmas, I, too, would run like the wind blows.

  • A cuddler that I dont know very well, brought me a house plant and a nice candle. It was so thoughtful and unexpected, I was speechless . ☺️😅

  • For my birthday and holiday/Nye bonus someone I saw consistently gave me a very generous tip in a pretty envelope.
So I don't see anything wrong with that if you don't know what material thing they may appreciate.
Chocolates, scented candle or a gift card could be a nice idea as well! :)

  • The best Christmas gifts are thoughtful, is there something they mentioned wanting/needing when you guys have chatted?

If you can’t see them in person you could ask them if they have an Amazon wishlist, you can purchase something there for them that they truly want.

Of course a Christmas cashapp/venmo would make your pro happy too 😊
