I'm new, and very curious to find out if this site actually works
Novice here. I’m told it takes some time to get it going.
Well that's not encouraging
@CuriousNConfuse @KBftm
@galowglass Are you new meaning a new Pro? If so, this site does work and they take the least percentage than any of the other cuddle companies I’ve researched.
As a Pro, I found it best to write a good intro profile first.
After that, do a search for people looking to be cuddled in your area. Make sure you select hide pros when doing this.
I just started by messaging locals a simple, “hi my name is _________. I saw your profile and I’d be interested in meeting with you if that’s something you would be interested in. Please feel free to check out my profile and let me know...” maybe end it again with your name, like I do.
Also, read the profile of the person first so you know if you are interested in them before messaging them.
If you’re new as in you’re looking for a cuddler, just do a reverse search, selecting Pros Only. It will list the pros within your mileage range specifications, by who has been online most recently. You probably don’t want to message someone who hasn’t been on in over 6 months or so, but you can try. Good luck!
dkftm If you base your plans on the comments of someone who failed, I think you'll find similar results. Optimism goes a long way as well as being polite and up-beat.
It takes a bit but definitely worth sticking around and putting in an effort to find a cuddler!
We are all novices in one sense or another
@pmvines what is discouraging is going into forums to learn, admitting you don’t know something about the Cuddle world but being pointed out bc you used the wrong verbiage. If I knew everything I wouldn’t be here to learn.
@CreativeCuddles
I’m trying to extend an olive branch here.
I think the reason some of us point out your wording in your messages (not verbiage — verbiage means excessive or superfluous words ) is because you don’t seem to ask questions about the things you don’t know or understand.
Instead, you voice your opinion and then say something like ‘this is just my opinion — don’t judge me.’ To me, that doesn’t come across as wanting to learn. It comes across as you stating an opinion and then not being willing to talk about it.
When someone then has a different opinion than you do, you seem to get very, very defensive — almost to the point of being aggressive.
It’s my opinion that you would get better results in just asking questions about things you’re not sure about. And if someone has a differing opinion, please know that they’re not necessarily attacking you — they are often trying to explain something. If you’re not sure why they’re saying what they’re saying (e.g. if you’re not sure whether they are trying to aggressively attack you or are just offering a different perspective), try asking them.
I find that most of the people here on the boards have good intentions.
No, the issue at hand is I’m not as perfect as everyone here. If everyone of your post were attached you would be aggressive as well. This is my opinion is my opinion and I already know it will be attacked because it’s habit by all of the perfect people here and just because I don’t agree with you guys or no, don’t understand I am attacked. That to me isn’t people having good intentions. Go back and read my post not one is defensive and not one is aggressive. Try asking someone? Why so I can be attacked then for asking a question and not googling it? New cuddlers aren’t welcome in the forums and the people that have been on here are quick to jump, yes attack and make anyone feel like their vocabulary and knowledge aren’t as perfect as theirs. I am glad everyone here is so smart, but actually that isn’t so because I’ve been on other posts and see some of you asking questions. My question is. Why didn’t you google it. Think twice before you attack someone and then expect them to not get defensive.
If someone has a different opinion I get defensive? Are you fricking serious? You obviously aren’t reading my posts.
"If someone has a different opinion I get defensive? Are you fricking serious? You obviously aren’t reading my posts."
I have no idea who you are, know nothing about your history, but yes, you are very defensive. As in the following:
" This is my opinion is my opinion and I already know it will be attacked because it’s habit by all of the perfect people here and just because I don’t agree with you guys or no, don’t understand I am attacked."
" Go back and read my post not one is defensive and not one is aggressive. " >>> "Are you fricking serious?"
Actually, your entire post here is defensive and aggressive. I think what @AndiCuddles said is very reasonable. It would be wise to listen to her. (I'm assuming it's a her.)
I'm new here and I've found people on these forums to be very helpful and encouraging.
as long as you agree with them, then yes they are helpful. Nobody gets to know anyone they just opt to judge their post. In another forum one the posters here state the newbies are shy and don’t voice their opinions. Can you see why, and for one not to be defensive when they are constantly attacked, please. I’ve learned nothing from this forum except if you don’t agree with the cuddlers that have been here for a while don’t bother voicing your opinion. I should have listened to the long time cuddlers messaging me saying it’s not worth it. They were right. End of forum.
