For the love of anything you love

edited January 18 in General

I've just had one of the worst 12 hr shifts I've ever had to do. Next, I'm busy all night doing something I wish I wasn't obligated to do. Plus I literally feel like I've been dropped by a sweet soul for no reason. I don't have much time to even banter with yall to feel better. I'll be pulled away very soon. But... for the love of anything you love... can you send me good vibes on this thread. Any funny memes, silly stories? Hell even a haiku. Something so that I can come back later tomorrow morning and check this thread and be reminded to smile/ laugh?
Pet pics, accomplishments, birthday stories or anything positive you care to share? I'm all eyes 👀 💌 thanks yall

  • Sending good vibes, and puns to you!

@Cuddlesofcuddle Sending you warm hugs, you're not alone!

When I get overwhelmed (fairly often lately), I let nature be my therapist. No words, just trees and grass and (for me) mountains. Here's a pic from Rocky Mountain National Park that I liked, I hope it brings you some peace to see it.

  • This is some years old but extremely funny

Why sometimes refs do some dubious calls

  • Oh man! ... @Cuddlesofcuddle I'm sorry I missed this ... I would have added a bunch of gifs here ...

... in case you still need some smiles/laughs:

  • Heck yes all of these responses were gold and exactly what I needed
    Muchas Gracias! 🤗

  • My family had these two dogs when I was in high school. One was 12 years old schnauzer and one was 2 years old apricot poodle. The schnauzer would sleep most of the day and the poodle would annoy her. The schnauzer never wanted to play with her. But when it was late at night the poodle would collapse on one side of the couch and go to sleep. The schnauzer would wait till she was asleep and would walk over to the poodles side of the couch and tuck herself in next to poodle. And they would sleep calmly together. It would be easy to assume they didn’t like each other, but we knew better.

  • I think I’ll consider getting a dog this year. All these pet photos are making me feel 🥹🥹🥹🥹.

  • @Kaybloom I agree! I got me a puppy just a few weeks ago. She sleeps a lot but it's been nice to wake up and have her here 💜
