Food and Cuddles

Is there any type of food that all of you find more conducive to cuddling? Something that's comforting but not so filling that it just makes you sleepy? (unless of course you like to nap and cuddle, which sounds like a legit good time as well)

I saw someone else posting about tacos and it got me thinking about what other foods might be good as a cuddling "appetizer" of sorts. Or maybe it's not about the type of food but the ambiance while eating?

From my favorite taco place in town, Por Favor Tacos y Tragos:

  • Pretty much anything that gives me gas or produces a bowel movement

  • Psyllium husk is a great supplement to any food prior to a cuddle.

  • Me personally… anything!! Anything is possible when you put your minds into it!

Back to reality… I have had burger, sushi, pho, steak, fries, ice cream… quite sure more to come!

@natasya148 Sushi is a great idea, I feel like there's so much variety and creativity in good sushi, it puts me in an expansive state of mind that probably pairs well with cuddling.

  • Charcuterie 😋

@MissAdventurous Oh, that's a good one - light food, but with a lot of variety, probably a great discussion starter! Now I'm getting hungry ...

  • An IV drip. Keeps me hydrated and reminds the person you are cuddling an older guy. And to make the scene more authentic and to prepare me for my more advanced years—a side of creamed corn.

  • I second Charcuterie! Sushi is great too. Anything bite size that you can pop in your mouth.

  • Anything so long as I can brush my teeth after the meal, before the cuddle! 🤭 I've done Mexican food, pizza, Thai, sandwiches, Italian, pancakes, coffee shops with yummy vegan bakery items...a little bit of everything with my cuddle friends, from ritzy to tailgating to cooking together. 💃🏻🍢🚙🍕🔪🫑

As for during the actual cuddle, I like to focus on the person I'm with, so I can't say I often snack and snuggle... 😛 But on the rare occasions a movie is involved or the cuddles are less focused, I've done everything from chocolate dipped pretzels to chili. Finger food that isn't messy, and anything warm and comforting, are great options.

If you're looking for comfort food that isn't gonna send you into a carb coma (like macaroni & cheese), I recommend ice cream, chocolate milk, Lindor truffles, donuts, and oops I just remembered I have donuts...and haven't eaten breakfast... 🍩🤫 I have places to be!
