What makes a cuddle special to you?

edited February 2 in General

Hi my darlings!
It’s been so long since I’ve been on here and I’m finally getting back into the cuddle world ♥️♥️

Throughout my cuddle journey I’ve come across so many different personalities and different vibes of cuddles that were all fascinating and special in some way or another, and just thought I’d start a thread where people could share. What’s something that absolutely melts you into a cuddle? Something that makes the world around you feel fuzzy, warm and euphoric that leaves you feeling like your battery is at 100%? It’s different for everyone. For me I’ve been totally caught off guard by some cuddles. I’m 1000% a people pleaser and especially being a professional I want my cuddle partner to feel like the session is all about them. constantly giving arm tickles or massages and keeping the conversation going. Recently I had a cuddle where two people pleasers collided and we both wanted to make each other feel relaxed. It was an incredible session and He helped me relax and also was giving me massages and tickle touches and I was fully able to let my mind be at ease and I think me being at ease actually made the cuddle so much better!
So I’m curious what is something that puts you completely at ease where you can melt into the experience?

  • Some things I have loved so much during cuddles:

    1. Playing with my hair / head or scalp massages. This just completely turns my brain off, in a good way.

    2. Directing telling me (if it’s true) that you’d like for me to “have it all my way”, so I should speak up if something could be even better. This is different than saying “I want you to be comfortable” - there’s a big spectrum between those, and I love to know if you want to know alllll my preferences.

    3. Also, when I don’t have a strong preference or don’t know what to do next, just directly telling me what you would like to do that you’re pretty sure I’ll enjoy. Such as “you’re gonna be the little spoon now.” Or “I’d like to give you a neck massage - you can sit right here and I’ll sit right there.” As a newbie, I like knowing you’ve got this.

    4. Thank you texts afterwards - yes please! 🙏 if you enjoyed it, let me know! Doesnt have to be long, but specifics are welcome.

    5. Really giving space for answers to your questions. If you ask me something, I love having space to answer, a little reflection, a follow-up questions… those who have the capacity to just come on over into my world for a bit get a lot of points with me. Explore my answer a bit before we do compare/contrast with your own. I’m happy to come over to your world too, no need to rush it, we are on cuddle time 🥰🫠

    6. Outdoor cuddles have been super fun - went to the river with one buddy and cuddled on a towel after a dip in the water. That was awesome 🦦☀️

    7. I sent one buddy a couple of songs I thought he would enjoy, and he had put them on the cuddle playlist for our session - nice touch dude! That was great.

    8. Specific genuine compliments are also special to me - little treasures I keep in my pockets ✨💎✨ maybe that’s just my love language, but I feel like if you’re gonna be that close, it’s nice to know in words how the person sees you, and IF they see you.

Hope that helps you take your cuddle care to a new level - sounds like you are already thoughtful and proactive about your sessions and that’s great 😁

I always start nervous with a new cuddler. I want to make a good impression, I want to be friendly and respectful, I don’t want to offend or be seen as weird. Then there’s that moment, after a while, where everything changes and I feel at ease being around them. I’m no longer hyper-focused on my breathing, my muscles loosen up, I’m no longer focused on making a good impression. I feel safe and relaxed, I’m in the moment. That moment of change is always special.

@cfdanny wow, that's a great way to describe it, felt the same way on my first time with a pro.

  • @cfdanny I hadnt realized other people focus on their breathing or how they hold thwir body! Good to know, I feel less like a freak :)

  • Yay @Brandi old friend , I have nothing to add but it's great to see you 😊

  • Fresh breath, clean clothes, tidy room. Exchanging scratches, massage, squeeze, stretches. Prefer personal conversation over small talk.

  • @diegosensible Glad to know someone else feels that.

@LilBirb I focus too much on breathing at the start. Lol. Am I breathing too fast? Am I breathing too much on the them? Don’t mouth breath. Now I'm not breathing! Lol. It always stabilizes after a little while.

  • Being treated like a person, not just a financial transaction. I like getting to know a little bit about the person I'm going to cuddle. The more interest they show in learning about me ahead of time, the more comfortable I'll be at our session.

  • Experiencing a mutually tranquil session.

  • It’s all about respect! These guys can get really pushy really fast and it’s the most disrespectful feeling.

  • Entering into a cuddle space just wanting to cuddle, just because the warmth of the other human is wonderful. Giving and receiving energy in alignment with each other and leaving knowing you can meet again although not expecting yet feeling like yeah we could cuddle again.

  • I am also super nervous upon walking in the door. The online conversations can be absolutely perfect but it won't tell you how the cuddler will behave in real life. Luckily, I've only had good luck in that regard. I'm usually tentative during the first touches but a good cuddler can bring down those "barriers" quickly. The sign of a truly good cuddler is their willingness to accommodate our every position request. Happy Valentine's day to all you ladies.

  • a good cuddler can bring down those "barriers" quickly

Actually, my philosophy is I need to take accountability and set aside any of my nervousness and bring down those barriers for her as well —pro or enthusiast. Cuddling is a two-way street and it is only natural for both parties to be nervous. A female pro is still a female with her own concerns just like a female enthusiast. So it is incumbent on me to alleviate those concerns and this can only be achieved by empathy on both sides. Communication, empathy, and consent are all ingredients both parties should bring to the table for a successful, restful, and satisfying exchange of energy to take place regardless of what that looks like to both people.

For me, what makes a cuddle special is … slowing everything down. I value creating a space that feels safe, warm, and steady - where there’s no rush and no pressure to be anything other than being present. Clear communication and boundaries are important to me because that’s what allows real trust and relaxation. What I receive from it is the quiet satisfaction of a shared calm space…feeling someone settle, soften, and knowing we created a space where together we could truly let go and be at peace.

Also I love deep regulatory breathing- synchronized breath work… and exchanging lite messages .. it’s like letting your soul get in one of those long satisfying stretches in and releasing all the tensions of life … good stuff 🥰
