Issues with Cancelations

edited February 4 in Pro Cuddling

I'm so frustrated! When people cancel, I don't get notified? Is there a way CC can update it to where when somebody cancels, it bumps the booking message? This problem has been plaguing me lately.

  1. Should CC bump the booking message when somebody cancels?11 votes

  • Usually if they cancel, using the cancel option on the booking panel, it cancels the booking and then sends you an email notifying you ๐Ÿค”
My grievance about something similar to this is that when I have a booking with someone and they get banned, that doesnโ€™t cancel the bookingโ€ฆ. If someone gets banned, that should automatically cancel the booking and notify.

  • I opted out of e-mails from CC for work reasons. The confirmation message should be bumped. Like, a new booking request message ut for cancelations.. idk maybe I'm wording it wrong ๐Ÿ˜…

  • Ah gotcha
Maybe create a separate email specifically for this? Cuz I have two emails and I get notifications for both

This sounds a bit like an edge case of an issue because I would think professional cuddlers would not want to be opting out of notification emails from the platform.

If you're using something like Gmail, you can use Filters to selectively hide some of our emails while allowing others to still come through.

But I do recognise the feedback regarding conversations being bumped for cancellations and I will note this down so it's looked into at some point.

  • @Mark like, getting the booking cancelled if someone gets banned?

Bookings do get cancelled when it involves a banned member.

They typically get cancelled 48 hours before the scheduled session time. This delay in cancellation is a grace period in case the ban was a mistake, or an appeal was considered and consequently the client's account was restored.

  • Ah ok
    Gotcha ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป thank you

I have a work email that my boss hounds me about checking regularly. I'm not the kind of person to check my email unless my boss says there is something specific coming up. That's not the point. I think bumping the booking message (or creating a new one, notifying through CC messaging) upon cancelation would be beneficial to the people that don't use email. Thanks to the moderator that replied, I super appreciate all of you!
