What are some of your favorite satisfying projects? How did you accomplish them? What motivated you to keep working on them? Any abandoned ones? What do you need to go back on track to finish them?
My next project is sourcing hyaluronic acid for personal use. Thank you Olympics!
@TheFunCartel hahaha. Then trying to figure out how to inject it. I’m a nurse and that’s a no go lol
I had a new deck built recently - but I did not ask for their railing because I wanted to do it myself. Almost year later, it’s still less than a third done. In any case if I can get it done in time this would be a cool venue to host an Austin meet & greet!
I’m the best person to get projects started, getting them finished, not so much.
Thats funny @consciousseeker I was just thinking yesterday how it would be nice if the forums had a bit more topics to entice people to connect more and talk about about their other interests besides cuddles.
Personally, I am very excited when the weather warms to start a paint project on my hobby car using spray paint with the goal of getting as close to a professional look as possible. It shouid be a fun creative outlet and i will be very proud of however it turns out pic from insiration video:
@RadiantHugs @BluboySnugs - Thank you so sharing wonderful pictures with us. Great projects!!
I made these skating dresses.
Not really a project or accomplishment, but I do wood crafting as a hobby so I always have an excess of items I have made so I have given some to the local cancer center for their annual auction. Been told I should set up a booth at a local craft fair but then I would have to deal with people.
@sagantyson Absolutely lovely!! 💙🩵💙

@SunsetSnuggles thank you!
I was working on a dnd character generator to help newer players make their forst characters but it happened just after the new 2024 rules update and all the old and some new resources were mixed up and then my ADHD brain decided to move on to something else that was promptly dropped after a few weeks 😅
I always have a million things going on. I’m in a big dance show coming up in a couple weeks. Hardly practiced yet, but I’ve been doing this for like 3 years.
I’m starting watercolor painting classes next week, and I’m so hyped! Never done a community college class before, so it’ll be great to push my comfort zone. I want to illustrate books with Beatrix Potter vibes. 🌻✨
Then trying to figure out how to inject it.
@coolrunnings12 Well I am pretty good at darts.
Yesterday I did exactly nothing. Today I will finish what I started yesterday.
I’ll share about a grief project I made for my late husband -
I bought this string board project right after he passed and soon realized that each string was much more work than I thought 🥵
You really have to hold it with just the right amount of tension, the numbered pegs are so tiny, and you have to go at just the right speed to match the app that’s calling out each number/letter combo like an endless bingo game.
Slowly, slowly, slowly, the image starts to appear, just when you think it won’t.
So as I was doing this project for hours on end, I had the thought “wow, this is kind of like our days was while he was ill.” He had a brain injury from a car accident for the last 5.5 years. Caring for him and keeping life stable for our kiddo was arduous, tedious, exhausting, and often felt like no forward movement was happening. But, in the end, even with the injury and all the drama it created, we did have a beautiful imperfect life together, full of love, games, laughter, travels, good food, and always cuddles 🥰
And that thought got me wondering just how many actual days we had spent together 🤔🤔🤔 I did a quick estimate that it was right around 3695 (2/14/2015 - 3/30/25). Cool, good to know, about 3700 days.
But then, I looked down at the number of string steps in the project 😳 3700!! 🤯
So now, as it hangs on our wall, I feel it is honoring each of our days, each a little courageous triumph of its own, that all came together to form our love story. 🧡💛🧡💛🧡💛❤️🩹🧡💛
Thank you for the witness and the space to share 😌🫶
Oops, couldn’t tell if it was posting the pics or not 🙊
I have a few works in process-most are difficult to share here, but here’s the idea-I made contact with someone who runs an online radio station on Live365.
He told me that I could send him a demo of the show, including songs, etc…
My idea is that I want to help people through music and discussion-sometimes being in depth and personal and sometimes just playing whatever in my eclectic music collection hits my mind with very little context. Picture is of the playlist around my demo.
@SoftnSmiley that's so special, thanks for sharing! It was really inspiring, reading about your celebration of his life, seeing how much that project meant to you, and the connection you had.
@sagantyson @BearCraft @Cuddla89 @snugglebug888 @SoftnSmiley @hugpoweredhuman Cool projects. So satisfying to see all of you sharing these.
@7gem - haha you are funny!
I've written 40,000 words of my new novel.
I don't even know 40,000 words. I would have to use some of them more than once.😊
