Pro no-show

for whatever reason my deposit was paid via Cash app at $250 on November 24, 2025 a cuddle was not successfully scheduled until February 5 2026 for 12 PM to which there was a given no-show. Assuming the possibility of 1 PM I waited for that time still a no-show no communication via text or in the app. What are her responsibilities and mine? How do I either receive the cuddle or my $250 back?

Sorry to hear that. All you can do it Report and hope for the best.

If the account is still active and you haven't been Blocked it is likely that the professional experienced some significant stress in her life that has nothing to do with you.

You are at liberty to write Karma: no show is the only circumstance in which you may write Karma for somebody you haven't met. It not be helpful to do so. If you do, remember that it must be true, fair, polite and, ideally, kind. Avoid opinions and stick to facts,

  • I have met her two other times and there were no problems, but you’re all right. Something may be amiss. It is the no lack of communication that’s the most troubling.

  • You're not going to want to hear this, but you probably need to:

Dont ever send THAT big a deposit for a cuddle. $40 or $50 is reasonable, but $250 upfront screams scam to me. Of course, for the payee, the big reason to use Cashapp, Zelle, or a similar service is that you, as payor, have pretty much no chance of getting your money back.

If I were in your shoes, I'd report the pro.

  • I have observed, in life generally, that when you pay all or a significant proportion of the fee up front then the probability of getting the work done on time to standard diminishes greatly. It's not that there is any nefarious intent, it's more of a human nature thing. They do mean to do the work, it just falls to the bottom of the priority list and consequently never happens.

It's a bit like the old joke of the minister gently chiding a wife who has been accused of nagging her husband. "Now then, you know he's a reliable fellow, if he's said he's going to do it, he will do it. There's no need to remind him every six months."
