Why hasn't anyone come out with a line of mouse-flavored cat food?
Cats like fish better. I don’t think cats really eat mice; they just maul them.

Using actual mouse meat at scale would be expensive, hard to farm, and off-putting to most human buyers, even if cats might eat it. Anyone who's owned reptiles that feed on live mice would agree. Also real mice have a higher risk of carrying dangerous parasites and bacteria that make them a risky “snack” for pets, so owners are usually advised not to let cats eat wild mice even though they sometimes do. From a nutrition standpoint, rodents can be an appropriate prey for cats, but similar nutrition is easier and safer to provide with chicken, beef, fish, etc., which are already widely farmed and accepted in pet food.
Ok. What about cat flavored mouse food?
The flavor isn't the problem, it's that my cat has a pavlovian addiction to the sound of a can opener, so I need cat food that has one of those greeting card speakers for mealtime. I think he could probably hear it and come running from a mile away 😆

It's because a significant minority of people aren't clever enough to understand that their cat has different tastes from them. They wouldn't like to eat mouse, therefore they wouldn't buy it for their cat.
Also because the meat flavours of cat food are mostly waste from the human food chain, and are therefore very cheap.
I have seen rabbit flavoured cat food, and cats and humans both eat rabbits.
@CuddleDuncan If I were to create a line of cat foods, based on the feeding behaviors that I've observed from my own cats over the years, the offerings would include at least:
Lizard Bird (like sparrows, bluejays, doves, robins, etc - not chickens and turkeys) Mouse Squirrel Tender baby bunny Snake Duckling
There should be cat flavored hot dogs

Well ... I know i am late to this conversation but ....
... if i were to give my cats any mice flavored anything, it would most likely end up either by my door or somewhere close by. Mine cats tend to hand rodents over rather than eat them ...
As far as random thoughts, I think tattoos should serve a practical purpose. For example, I am thinking of getting warning labels tattooed on me. I think the first one will be on my butt crack stating “Approaching objects are closer than they appear.” Around my lips I will have “Surgeon General Warning: Listening to Bullshit For More Than Five Minutes Can Cause Brain Cramping.”
I am fine tuning others.
I wonder if jelly fish are sad that there are no peanut butter fish.
In what other language do people drive on the parkway and park on the driveway? Ship by truck but send cargo by ship? Recite at a play but play at a recital? Have noses that run and feet that smell? English is cuh-ray-zee!
