We’ve just had over 2 weeks of sub freezing temps here in Philly and I can’t believe I’m going to Colorado to warm up…but I’ll take it! Saturday looks like a good day to take the train into downtown and go exploring!

Hello cuddleland, I’m just popping in to say that, after sitting on the fence for a long time about this event, I am officially deciding YES and will bring a couple riotous games to play together.
Let’s do this! Also bringing a cuddle buddy who loves to drive to things 🤷🏻♀️ so that’s also a win. I’ll check if he wants to RSVP.
What’s happening with food? Should we eat or snack beforehand?
Their commuter rail…station is a short uber ride from the hotel. Goes right into the heart of downtown Denver…then a free bus to go the whole length of the 16th street mall. A mile of shops and restaurants. Was there 20 years ago and it was awesome then…can only imagine about how developed it is now…
Hey @Spud424 .....they are no longer calling it a mall and less shops than before COVID. Crime rates made most of the stores shutter down.
Ahhh…thank you for the info. That’s a shame because I enjoyed visiting it then. Looks like other plans are in order then…

@Spud424 yeah I've taken the light rail also, haven't done for a few years. It was nice then. @Goonie4life I was checking on the 16th street experience It still looks pretty cool considering you guys put $175 M in that to renovate and completed in 2025! I wouldn't mind seeing what they have done to improve!

The embassy folks have a nightly happy hour(s) that provides drinks (first 2 are comp I believe) and snacks for everyone. There is a casual restaurant also in the lounge so there's that also.
Can't wait to see you all! Reminder the hotel pool is inside (of course lol) and the hot tub is outside. The weather looks fantastic for this weekend!!

I'm so looking forward to this weekend for a million reasons, but most of all seeing people connect in safe and intersting ways brings a smile to my heart.
People are staring to trickle in and we wanted to give a PSA.
Earlier we had a few peeps voice concerns about photos and the policy around them.
I’ve been to most of the Meet & Greets (facilitated quite a few of them) and we always remind people to ASK for consent from all parties from the beginning. Even about taking the photos. (In some of the game photos you will see people hiding their faces or stepping out of the photo because we announce that there are pics being taken.)
It would probably be useful if everyone who posted a picture added the phrase “Photos taken and posted with Consent” but alas… that is not always the case. @OhioMike is also really good about mentioning Enthusiastic Consent means you can also change your mind. 🩵

This is a non-cuddle event to meet other cuddlers in person. Cuddling maybe-could occur if parties are interested, but the focus of this event is to meet other members of Cuddle Comfort in an environment without the expectation of cuddling. Cuddlers from outside of Colorado are welcome to join.
Also, these Meet & Greets are for CC members only, if anyone has been previously banned from the site they are not allowed access.
Please remember to ask permission re photos etc. Taking pictures or posting them is a fun way to commemorate the event and the new connections, but we are all hopefully a little more educated and considerate as it comes to consent. PLEASE ASK BEFORE TAKING OR POSTING ANY PICTURES OF THE EVENT.

A small miracle occurred at the game table tonight - in case you missed it 😆
Three of us were playing the game Ransom Notes, a game where you use a comepltely random pile of those little magnetic words to complete a task given by the large deck of prompts - maybe 150-200 different prompts come with the deck.
So there we were, on our 3rd prompt of the game, and what card do we pull?
“Create a slogan for a dating site aimed at people who just want to CUDDLE!” ‼️‼️
