Judas Priest Dokken Quiet Riot Scorpions Ratt
I'm more of a 90's R&B guy (My perfect music for a good cuddle) but I do have a few favs from the 80's that know to set such a mood.
Madonna Taylor Dayne Roxette Janet Jackson Whitney Houston Foreigner Phil Collins & in lesser extent, Bobby Brown with his more softer songs (like Rock wit'cha & Roni)
Music is great and conveys so many feelings and emotions.
Bad Brains. Not great to cuddle though.
AC/DC Aerosmith Journey The Cars
Yes! '80s all the way!. I heart 80s is commercial free on the weekends. I've always been all over the place, rock, country, pop ...
I don’t know how many people here are interested in synthwave music made to feel like the 80’s. I’m going to be seeing The Midnight in April, and these guys are touring with them. They’re called New Constellations, and I’m looking forward to hearing this one from them.
Here’s a sample of The Midnight as well.
@CuddlyKitten79 Depeche Mode would be awesome to see live! I think one of my favorites is the song “Precious”.
@Chris_Cuddlez A good one that works on multiple levels. I understand it’s a love song and apology to the children of divorce.
The Smiths The Cure New Order Erasure
Cuddling to hair metal?? Hmmmmm...
The 80s was probably the last decade where I paid attention to music.
First 3 cassettes I ever purchased with my birthday money in the 80s were Twisted Sister, Billy Idol, and Stray Cats. I think I was 8 or 9 then.
I'm big on Journey, Pat Benatar, George Michael, The Fixx, Phil Collins. I did enjoy Billy Idol's White Wedding.
Rush, van Halen, creedance Clearwater revival. The cure.
@pmvines Friend, my first cassette was purchased in the 90s: Arrested Development. Lol 😆
@dialthegate CCR is amazing, yet they weren't in the 80s were they? I thought they were 60s & 70s
The Mighty 690. It's on a small station in Malibu but you can listen online. Like everything 80's
