Always think twice

[Deleted User]emky88 (deleted user)

As with all things online there is a lot of deception here.. girls are 98% not single and some use their husbands/boyfriends or benefactors apartments to host.

Also never believe the sad financial stories

Just a few words of caution for the un-suspecting.

And there are loads of creepy weirdo Incel dudes, who push for more than cuddling, with their sob stories about why they go behind their partners backs to cuddie interwebs strangers

… girls? I thought everyone here needs to be 18 years of age or older. Please refer to people who identify as female and are over the age of 18 as women.

Words matter and often suggest discrepancies and in one’s respect level for genders.

  • It sounds like you may have been blindsided to find that a professional was not open to escalating her professional relationship with you. I’d be curious to hear why that felt deceptive despite agreeing to adhere to fully platonic boundaries.

  • think twice

  • The OP just opened his account and is already an authority? I dare say an authority on circumventing a ban or creating a duplicate account.

  • @Bluzy Ex ACT ly. Thank you.

  • Gotta love when folks tell on themselves 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

  • I think twice every time I eat ice cream . I think hmmm, how will this affect my poops? I think once . I think twice. Then I eat the ice cream and hope that the poops gods are kind to me

  • @pmvines see, ice cream makes me think twice about brain freeze and sensitive teeth 😫 always worth it, though

  • @cuddlefaery

Brain freeze, teeth sensitivity and ice cream farts sound like a fabulous way to spend a weekend

Does that mean that if a female is over 18, you can’t refer to her as your girlfriend? By your logic, she is your femalefriend? What about females that refer to their female friends as their girlfriends? They are now by your logic, their femalefriends?

  • When it comes to language and labels , I tend to err on the side of what that particular group prefers to be called. And more often than not, I've seen women say that they prefer to not be called girls. Referring to someone as a girlfriend is not the same. Silly argument for the sake of arguing.

How does that even matter? This is a cuddle site. As long as we are mutually okay with our relationship status, who cares.

Also never believe the sad financial stories.

Why are you saying that? Is a female member of the site telling you a sad story and trying to get money out of you? You do know that other than paying a pro for their service which you agree upon before hand, you don’t have to dish out any additional money.

My biggest take away from all of this is that I can’t believe that everyone including myself even took the time to reply.

@Morpheus I think context is important. In general, I feel, when men refer to women as girls, yet they are females over 18, it is usually, in a micro aggressive way, disrespectful. That may not necessarily be the man’s intention, but it can come off that way.

And of course you can have a girlfriend. : )

    True statement.

No one can quote site-wide numbers, but let's just say I've met zero Pro's in person who weren't in a relationship.

Key word: Mutual. OP is referring to deception.

@emky88 posted: "some use their husbands/boyfriends or benefactors apartments to host."

Facts. And as has been pointed out before, this poses a serious danger to their unsuspecting clients, should the potentially clueless significant other come home early and find his wife/girlfriend "in bed" with another man.

Wise words. I've met guys who have let their kindness or naivete put them thousands of dollars upside down into women who clearly used them. It's a disgusting manipulation tactic, and it happens. Many men don't talk about it due to shame.

As a female, I prefer to be called a girl.

  • @Bluzy I agree. For many years when I was younger I said girls. After being corrected several times by women and one who started calling me boy to get her point across, I got the message. It is better to err on the side of the adult word for women than to make assumptions. If they tell me girl is ok, I would probably still say lady or woman or whatever else because of general conditioning and being aware of the difference for a few decades now.

I asked my wife and Daughter if they mind being referred to as a girl and they said it depends on the context but overall they don’t care.

I don’t mind being called a girl, but I’m old so it makes me feel young again! “Female “ sounds so impersonal to me.
I also agree with everything Sunset said so it can be a mistake to call a personal opinion a fact. Actually so much of what is stated in the forum as fact is actually just an opinion. (Just my opinion of course). 😊🤗

    @SunsetSnuggles @Carrie_Anne

I hear you and that's fine , I would never not refer to someone in person what they prefer to be called by. So if someone wants to be called girl I have no issue with that. However lots of people have voiced being bothered when they are called a girl, whereas ive never had anybody tell me they are bothered when referred to as a woman. So because of this I do not refer to the gender at large as girls. When many people express that it is problematic for them and they are bothered by it, I believe them, so I try to taylor my actions towards that. But if we are hanging out or familiar with each other, I'll call you whatever you want 😊

@Morpheus Two people is not exactly a wide net. That is anecdotal evidence at best. Just like the individuals who say they don’t mind girl. If that’s what they want to be called that is their prerogative. My choice is to err on the technically correct use of the word girl (a female who is not an adult yet) unless an adult woman says they prefer girl in the colloquial sense. I just got tired of being corrected on girl and having women being offended. I find that not nearly get offended at being referred to as a woman or lady as they do being called a girl. But I deal with a lot of women in my career (mostly designers) so I have to pay attention to their preferences.

I will agree with your wife and daughter that context matters and who says it. If a woman comes up to some guys she knows playing games and asks “Are you boys having fun?” It lands differently than if a coworker refers to you in the workplace as boy. I believe it works that way with women but I don’t claim to know that.

  • I personally prefer the term "girl", but I never mind if people call women, "women". What niggles me is when men speak for women.

  • I also am not a fan being called female or girl. Unless I’m with a “girlfriend” and we’re chatting and she says something crazy and I yell “giiiiirrrrrllllllll!!” 😆

Looks like in a somewhat clumsy way I brought something up. I admit I did overstep in my initial response, for I should have characterized it more as an opinion. After re reading it I also realized, I did not need to nor should I have spoken for women. Women are perfectly capable of protecting themselves.

In my line of work which is often with men who have relationally or otherwise harmed and/or abused women, I almost always challenge a man’s language especially if it has the twinge of being misogynistic or abusive in any way. My apologies @emky88 if that was not your intention. It’s hard sometimes to put my work hat up and away.

Thank you all for sharing about the girls—women word usage. I’ve learned a lot from you all.

I’m beginning to like and appreciate the CC community more and more, maybe as much as my cuddling sessions.
