@reurbo @Mark six months or so, there was a campaign to rid the site of “off-topic” discussions in the forums. It was a fiasco. There just is no way to determine what is too far off, and what sort-of fits. You backed off, and saved the site. To come after a new user who in your estimation posted nonsense, while that user saw it as humor was just plain mean spirited. @reurbo your terse retort telling the user to stop doing something that, in your opinion, was not humor-something small and harmless- shows a lack of maturity and respect. C’mon, man!
@mickcuddle Seeing as it was @Mark who deleted the discussion, I'm sure he'd say otherwise on the matter. After seeing this post was made about another of @rvyhvn I checked the logs to see why the previous was deleted. The discussion was flagged for breaking the forum rules and was removed. I responded on this discussion as to why it was removed so the member knew why this occurred for future reference. Please ensure you have all the information before jumping to conclusions on why a discussion was made. Had I made the discussion it would have been based off the forum rules just like Mark does and I would have removed the post as well.
Why did my discussion get deleted
As mentioned above, it was removed for being completely meaningless. But it was not removed for being off-topic.
Now closing this thread.
