Haiii :<3, I just wanted to ask people what video games they remember from their childhood that made them feel warm and happy inside.
Any platform or era, I don't judge.
My childhood video game system was the Atari 2600. I suppose that my "warm and cozy" game was Adventure. Still love finding the hidden screen in it.
@Jubal I told you that you were a young whippersnapper!! In my childhood, video games hadn't been invented yet.
Without a single doubt or thought, Zelda Ocarina of Time
The original Legend of Zelda!
Lode Runner. First version I ever played was the 1983 floppy disk version. They have made newer versions of the game on different systems and video game handhelds
Castlevania Symphony of the Night, Super Mario RPG, Yoshi's Island, Final Fantasy 9
Dooood @SqueezeBuddy great deep-cut
Pitfall!
River Raid
Video whositz?? We did even have color tv until I was in high school!
@LynnP88 I remember helping my dad take the vacuum bulbs out of our old Zenith tv and taking them to the appliance store and testing them on their bulb machine. I will say that the old zenith tv which my parents already had when I was born lasted over 30 years. Now days if you get a tv that lasts 10 years you have accomplished something.
I remember playing Pong on that old Zenith with 100 different adapters from Radio Shack to make it happen.
I grew up with the NES and still play video games regularly. Iβll likely have a gaming system at the Old Folks Home π
My comfort game is pretty much any Zelda title, but Link to the Past and Minish Cap are my favorites. π‘οΈ ππΊπ πΈπΌ πΌ
