Several of the original cast have been teasing something for weeks on their social media, with cameos, Easter egg quotes, etc.
I'm glad they decided to go with animated rather than a live action reboot, as I think this much later they'd struggle to recapture the magic of the original. Animation + voice acting would allow them so much more flexibility and creativity, not to mention reaching a new younger audience.
So excited to see something is finally in the works!
