I HATE when dad's die... Mine's 74 and I need like, 50 more out of him. People say parents shouldn't outlive their kids, but for SOME of us with special needs, we NEED "to go" before our parents because this world is NOT "ready" to provide the support we ACTUALLY need (and it's NOT monetary)!! My heart goes out to his remaining family

I got to meet him once, a real down to earth guy. He was very nice to a total stranger, I didn’t ask for his autograph as I’m sure he gets tired of that. I just let him know I was a big fan.
He visited us once when we were in a war zone and had lunch with a few of us. He looked a lot different without the makeup on. A really good guy based on the conversation we had. I forgot about the movie where Dean Martin defeated him with one kick.

Say what you will about his political stance in recent years, but Chuck Norris' contributions to martial arts and the action movie genre are undeniable. Somewhere up in heaven, he's reuniting with Trivette, catching up with Barry Gabrewski (RIP Jonathan Brandis), and most of all, having his rematch with Bruce Lee.
My dad loved him so sad.
