@IronLemon or perhaps people who have something bad to say could either respect the forum rules, or respect the feelings of those who are grieving, or simply remember that just because you want to say something doesn't mean you should say something.
No human is perfect. Threads like this are places to remember the good parts. The bad parts should not be forgotten, but they will keep for another place and time.
For the record, I don't know anything about Chuck Norris except the meme and have no views on him.
Quite frankly, I started this thread because I knew he was popular with people on this site. Totally unaware of his politics, know very little about his films, and even less of him as a person. It was just a share to the community.
A good guy. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. We seem to be losing a lot of them lately.
Chuck Norris was a truly exceptional Martial Artist who held multiple Black Belts (including Karate, Judo, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu). He was a National Karate Champion and great friends and training partners with Bruce Lee, the Machado Brothers, Benny "The Jet" Urquidez, and the Gracie family. It doesn't get any better than that in Martial Arts pedigree. RIP!
