🌞 NorCal Picnic & Snuggle Party! April 11th, 2026

Hey y'all!

I'm organizing a picnic meet & greet for NorCal cuddlers and those willing to travel here!

What: NorCal Cuddle Picnic
When: Saturday, April 11th, 2026 at 12pm-3pm
Where: near Sacramento (address will be given to RSVPs!)
Who: All CuddleComfort members + their families

Come gather in a local park with other platonic cuddlers to eat, chat, play games, and chill!
This is a family-friendly event - plus ones and children are welcome with RSVP, though plan on setting children loose in the park so the adults can talk freely.

This event is meant to be as accessible as possible - free to attend and location is chosen to be physically accessible for all bodies.

This is a potluck-style picnic! While not required, all are encouraged to bring something to share - food, drinks, games, music, etc.

RSVP is required to get the address and further details. If you have trouble signing up, DM @cuddlefaery!

What: NorCal Snuggle After Party
When: Saturday, April 11th, 2026, 5pm-8pm
Where: near Sacramento (address will be given to RSVPs!)
Who: Vetted CuddleComfort members

New this year! A number of people have expressed interest in us having an after-picnic snuggle party, so if there's enough interest I'd be happy to host!

This would be a safe space for both newbies & veteran cuddlers, with heavy emphasis on consent and communication.

All attendees will be vetted by me personally.

We would start with a few ice breaker activities and then spend the majority of the time snuggling in pairs & groups.

Only costs would be desired food and anything you're willing to chip in towards hosting costs.

Number of guests will likely be very limited, so RSVP as soon as possible to get vetted & save your spot!

The last one (I recall) was in the heatwave weather. So a temp controlled space is key.
My space is too small too but I’ll keep an eye out for options.

Couple of notes, folks:

if you think you might attend, you need to RSVP for the event(s) using the links. It's the only way to get address info, etc.
if you're interested in attending the after picnic snuggle party, make sure you RSVP for it separately. I'll try to message folks who indicated interest on the picnic, but Partiful doesn't have a way for me to just manually add people to events other than sending invites.
I'll be starting vetting calls for the after party this week! Even if you're only a maybe, RSVPing for it and getting vetted is the only way to be able to attend - I won't be doing last minute additions since it's a much more intimate gathering and needs to be a safe space.
messaging me that you're interested is great.... But I'll just be directing you to the RSVP link unless you have questions 😂

I'm like 75% sure I'm going. Lol with that in mind, it's quite a distance for me. Any ideas on what we want /need. I can always stop at a store in town..but cooking snd traveling , I don't want to risk it.
