This thread is a great way to see if other people are interested in an area and then working together to create a Meet & Greet so people can connect. If you scroll up through all of the comments you can see who's interested in your area. WAy back in the day @Babichev and I put together the first Meet & Greet ever in St. Louis and look how far we've come! We've seen almost TWENTY different Meet & Greets over the last 5 years.

If you are too nervous to start one by yourself.... it might be a great opportunity to ask a few other people to help coordinate and make a plan. I love seeing all of the ideas and plans for people to come together over common ideas.

Life is full of so much beauty if we just take a minute to look around.

Side not.... @DJGVILLE I was just telling another cuddler that Nashville is HIGH on my list of hopeful travel to's. I bet you will find some more people in the area who want to create a Meet & Greet as well!! ⭐🌟✨

I've been trying to break out of my shell for a while now and been looking for all different types of new things to try. It seems like most people in NoVA just go to DC or MD when they want to do something fun, but it also seems like there's lots of people who would love to find stuff to do that's not as far.

So I was thinking maybe we can get a thread going of people in NoVA who are open to hosting or helping organize some smaller events. Nothing crazy, but just like kickback / dinner party type vibes of 5-10 people. Seem to be pretty popular in other areas, so I'm sure we could pull it off here with a little bit of planning! Anybody interested?

Highly recommend these events and hope everyone will think about hosting one in their respective areas or help co host one. The rewards of hosting and attending are real ! 🤗😊

@JAZZ73 this has been an ongoing thread about current and past Meet & Greets from some of the first events after Covid. (Which is why it’s from 2022)

Like @cuddlefaery mentions there have been a PLETHORA of opportunities for connecting, and there are some delightful people in AZ. ☀️🌼🌻😊✨

The purpose of this thread is you can look through it and find other people who might be interested in helping in your area.

@DonLonG and @THBear as well as @MrKinder and @nurturingman just to name a few have been great supporters of connecting cuddly peeps.

Im down for anything from Richmond, va to DC. My place is Probablyyy not big enough to host? But I could ask around, old cuddle buddies... I've been to hundreds of events, i feel confident and capable of at least assistant facilitating, if not leading the entire initial hour from rote memory :-p
But yeah, I used to go twice a month, every month, if I had to drive to Tennessee or even bus to NYC. But since covid, it seemed like cuddle events were gone and never ever coming back, and I withered for years. Then last week, a friend found one and they told me there that no one uses any of the sites I used to use anymore, that the only one they use now is cuddle comfort and that was why it looked like events had never bounced back. They had, but I'm an old foggy and need to get on the reboot site.. so here I am. However, so far I hate this site. Either I'm a grumpy old man or I'm not using it right. Is it really the case that there's simply no tab for events, just these inconvenient message threads?
I'm scared this site won't help me find events, which means I may have to go back to withering. I have zero interest in one on one cuddling and seeing that some people charge money to cuddle is strange and new to me and not something I'd ever feel comfortable doing..

Just in case you're all wondering what a "Meet & Greet" might look like.... They're all different and as the organizer you can give it your own flair!
⚠️EDITED TO ADD: ⚠️ Meet & Greets are not facilitated or organized by the site owner or Admin. These are just community members setting things up.

As far as West Germany or any area out of the United States I don't know about that. I imagine there are people far more educated than I am who can assist in answering that question.

I took a bit of time to track down as many Meet & Greets as I could and came up with this list. If I've missed any please add them because its kind of fun to see how far we've come from the very first meet & greet.

@Babichev and I had a few messages that sounded something like this....
"I think people are ready to connect in person."
"Me too. What do you think? Cuddle party or just connecting with no pressure to cuddle but just to say hello?"
"100% just to Meet people in person from the community."
"That sounds great... When are you thinking and I'll book a flight and meet you in the park. Even if no one else comes it will be so much fun to get to know you."

AND that is the beginning of Meet & Greets.

This format is exactly what I do today. I typically reach out to one of my cuddle friends and say "Hey what are you doing on such and such date?" Then we decide a time and based on the aree and the weather we look for a park where we can pop up a tent or rent a pavilion, or go to an indoor venue that we don't have to pay for like a food court etc.

Every person who organizes has a different idea of what it might look like and you can see that in all the different ways people have come together as a community. Look through some of these historical Threads and you will see how vastly they differ. Some Meet & Greets have 100 people in attendance and some have less than 10 but they all accomplish the same thing. Helping people find authentic connections from the community.
