My mom’s birthday was 4/20. I once told her (when she was in her 80s) what the date was famed for. She didn’t care about that but was always unhappy that it was also Hitler’s birthday.
In my book, April 20th will first and foremost always be the day Columbine happened. 🎗

There were also some other tragic events at about that time. But right now there are beautiful cherry blossoms 🌸 in Seoul and many other places to celebrate. I’m really enjoying spring, April and some family birthdays. And it’s not too hot yet!
The cherry blossoms are gorgeous; I've especially loved seeing the purple ones during my visit in Colorado. 🪻

@SunsetSnuggles I’m glad you’ve had the chance to see them! I haven’t really seen them in other places that are famous for cherry blossoms, like DC I think? And areas of Colorado, I didn’t know about purple ones. I specifically wanted to come here at this time because I’ve never been here in the spring and they really are beautiful but they only last about a week. I guess it’s the same everywhere that has the trees, and everybody is out taking pictures!
