I don't celebrate Easter. But like most holidays, if it serves as an excuse for loved ones to get together and it's an important day for you, then my opinion and personal beliefs are irrelevant. Enjoy your family and friends, and eat some good food for me!

Is it okay if I tell my story here? It has some deep and dark moments but it's what led this Easter to being very special to me. I'm not even religious; more spiritual. I was mid-writing it when this thread got locked and now it's unlocked. So asking for permission from the mods.

@Mike403 perhaps the bunnies and eggs came from The Festival of Δostre
Δostre is the pagan fertility goddess of humans and crops. The traditional colors of the festival are green, yellow and purple. The symbols used are hares and eggs, representing fertility (because we all know that bunnies breed like, well, rabbits) and new life.
