Ladies, please stop selling sexual acts in sessions, it make it less safe for the rest of us.

I have cuddled all over the country, since 2022 and some cities are just full of women taking advantage of the site and selling sexual acts, which sets the tone for men to do the same, we need to keep our boundaries and follow the rules, or go on another site where you can sell sexual acts, this is not the place. I am not someone who does that, whatsoever. It is strictly platonic for me and all of you selling sexual acts make it unsafe for those of us that don't. People tend to expect me to be open to sexual acts or being nude, and I am not. STOP DOING THIS and have some respect for yourself and this site and go on another site, there are so many other sites, stop contaminating this space, and go somewhere else. We set the tone for the mostly men cuddling us women on this site. Let's all do better and keep this a safe place and realize your actions impact others

  • Sadly, I don't think that posting here will do much to reach those people or change things. Most site users do not use the forums, and I suspect the people who knowingly break TOS use them even less. You're more or less preaching to the choir.

  • I agree with @Ginamarie2 and @cuddlefaery.

    le sigh

  • @Ginamarie2 Ditto! … and ‘that’ part of CC does not really care

I’m an enthusiast, and for the same reason, the few guys I’ve cuddled or interacted with have had similar expectations of me. I was hoping this site would be a lot more about actual cuddling and less about hookups.

  • Lots of folks treat it like a hookup site for sure. Several major SW sites closed down several yrs back due to government crackdown on sex trafficking, which unfortunately made people looking to buy and sell that sort of thing scatter like bugs to places like this .

@Late_Lily look harder 😅🤣😂 … you may find about 2 platonic ones in a 100

  • still haven't had one cuddle from this site, totally platonic here haha

  • ehh fuk this place..again... but hey good luck to yall :)

  • I get the need to post somewhere about it though. The scariest session I've had involved a man who expected more out of our cuddle session because he found it on CC several times before. I posted the details on the pro forum a while back so I won't rehash it here.

SW is decriminalized where I live so there are other options for them to find business. I understand that we all need to pay our bills, but they are definitely making this site less safe for the rest of us.

  • It also ruins it for the few guys that aren't looking for a hookup. I've heard there are way more men then women on here. I think it would be more even if guys weren't using it for sex. There would be far fewer men and I'm guessing most women leave after a few bad experiences.

I don't think the offenders are riding the forum. Even if they do I doubt they would care. They don't have much for moral standards.

I had a pro tell me 90% of the women here are sw's. I've seen 5 pros here. None have offered anything beyond platonic. Who knows what the truth is. I've also been completely oblivious to women hitting on me, not here, so maybe I'm not the best judge.

I do suspect that guys who come here to find sw's instead of a sw site are afraid of being arrested. I would suspect that police stings on this site either don't happen, or happen far less frequently than on other sites. I mean, the female officer would have to cuddle for an hour or two if the guy didn't propose something illegal. I don't see that happening.

  • I’ve had clients tell me stories about this happening to them. It’s very disappointing that people are doing this and using this site for those kind of services. I joined this website because I believe in the power of healing thru human connection. So far I have been blessed with some amazing clients. Sure hope not to come across someone asking for extras services. That’s scary.

  • @Solaris i can say the same … no pro ever offered me anything sexual … but I guess it’s easier for men if they have decided to remain platonic … it only becomes a bit difficult if the female cuddler wants it to develop a relationship after feeling safe in a few sessions … still remains easier for men compared to the suffering platonic women go through

  • So many members of CC are victims of SA. They join to find a safe place for cuddles, caring touch & safe human interaction. And then they find out it’s not safe at all. Is there no place that’s safe if even a platonic cuddle site isn’t?

  • its my belief that it also raises the prices across the board.. because Pros bake the assumption in they will be dealing with people who will push for more.

Not that thats the important piece here.. but.. small annoyance

I just wanna cuddle damnit lol

I have tried many times to build a longer lasting platonic relationship… even if both sides are mature and remain platonic sooner or later a natural distance develops due to reasons of life … I now just refer to this as pseudo-stable relationship like a bubble it comes and goes away some stay for a few years max … they may be friends forever but that platonic cuddle ‘energy’ is lost for one reason or another

  • In my experience, the guys pushing for this seem to be exaggerating about what other pros do. It reads more like a pressure tactic than an accurate description of the platform. ‘Everyone’s doing it’ is a pretty classic way to wear someone down.

I met a guy early on who withheld payment as leverage, which is a different and more concerning dynamic than just someone asking and being told no.

I’ve been lucky to catch red flags early, and most of the clients I’ve actually met have been genuinely respectful. But the ones who aren’t have a way of being disproportionately draining regardless of how rare they are.

  • If you Google "cuddle comfort" you actually see a reddit sugar daddy thread pop up where the guy goes off about how about half the girls on the site where down for making out, sex, etc. It's insane. So many escorts came over to this site when the escort websites started getting shut down.

  • *were down

  • I hope they don't do that. Not cool

  • I have like, 8 S-A-F-E established cuddle buddies and although I could definitely use more (work schedules get in the way and most of them travel through town for work), I may just be “done”. People are too “ugly” (their actions, NOT their appearance 🙄🤕) and irrational. THAT ALONE makes it dangerous to be “here”!!

  • Cuddles were $60-$80 2 years ago… Now averaging $100+… I know gas hasn’t increased that much.. and cuddles in itself aren’t more expensive to give to someone… so some of your crazy high prices are very telling! Honestly, in some cases, disheartening - knowing you can get a high quality massage and conversation for $120/hr. The prices need to match the “basic services” of cuddling. So guys and gals 10000% know it’s literally a basic cuddle session…

  • @Ginamarie2 When I started in this the rates were reasonable. The jump from $40 to over $120/hr feels arbitrary, especially for a service that doesn't require formal skills or training. When you charge $144/hr—more than a licensed professional or massage therapist in most states—I think you change the nature of the transaction. High price points are attracting people seeking more than just platonic company. If the goal was truly to help the lonely, the pricing wouldn't be outstripping professional massage rates by positioning this as a luxury 'hustle,' you are unfortunately creating the very environment you're complaining about.

  • @dd4johnson ALL OF THAT!!!! 🎯🎯🎯

    If roles were reversed…
There are men here who are Pros and they charge for their time to cuddle also.
    Granted they rarely get booked…
But that’s not my point - here’s a hypothetical, if a Male Pro was charging $144 per hr for a cuddle, would you think he’s offering sex?
    Would women automatically think that?

  • @durantpiano wow, we literally said the same thing 15 min apart!! Let’s be friends 😂

  • Best filter is not to pay at all … this filter is more effective for men though …

  • edited April 6

@Carrie_Anne That argument doesn't hold up when you look at the market. Most women can access platonic touch for free; very few, if any, are paying a male cuddler $150/hr out of pocket. Have you ever actually paid full price for a male pro? Probably not.

  • I’ve noticed a trend lately that’s making it harder for this community to be taken seriously, and I think it’s worth addressing.

    Honest Photos vs. Mixed Signals
This is a platonic platform, but many profiles now feature provocative poses or outfits that don't really match the service. When a pro posts suggestive photos but then lists the service as "strictly platonic," it creates a confusing "bait-and-switch" vibe. It sends the wrong message to clients and makes it harder for professionals who are strictly focused on therapeutic touch to maintain their boundaries.

    A Reality Check on Pricing

In today’s economy, most people expect to pay between $100 and $120 for high-end professional massage with all the bells and whistles to give an example. When rates start climbing past $150 an hour, it prices out a lot of people who truly need the connection. Beyond that, inflated prices often act as a "wink and a nod" for "extras" that don't belong here. Keeping rates fair helps keep the focus on the therapy itself.

    Using the Right Platforms

There is a time and a place for everything. If someone is looking for, or offering adult services, there are plenty of other sites designed for that.

Bringing that energy into a platonic space undermines the hard work professional cuddlers do to provide a safe, healing environment.

The bottom line: Let’s stop the mixed signals. If we want this to be a respected space for professional, platonic touch, our profiles and our prices should reflect that. It’s about being clear so that everyone, clients and pros alike, feels safe and knows exactly what to expect.
