I am glad you've involved the police.

I need to find out how to mute e-mail notifications at night so my phone doesn't vibrate with junk e-mail at 2:00 A.M. 🫣

  • I recently had a similar situation with someone who had booked a session with me. I had to block them and cancel the session before meeting up with them. They had found my personal social media accounts and tried contacting me.

I NEVER do this with clients. I have no reason to and will block someone if I already know them from work or my personal life, since most people in my life don’t know I am a cuddle pro.

  • I've ran into when i'm on my social media, a person from this site shows up as a "potential friend" and maybe it comes from I have their phone number or had their phone number. I still would never connect with someone somewhere else unless they initiated it.

This is so awful and has had to make you feel so vulnerable. I’m glad you’ve contacted the police. It’s good that you now have your profile set to Private so that it can’t be seen in a Google search.
    (Married guy doing this?? Wow)
There are other important precautions for all of us to prevent this happening.
Photos used here should be ones not used in other social media platforms. Therefore won’t find you in an image search. Do not use your personal email and especially not your phone #. Get a free Google Voice number for all online activity.
Also, at night my phone is on silent without vibration and with sound completely turned down. I will not be woken by someone calling during the night. This can all be done in settings and with the side button on your cell. Landline? If anyone still has one, unplug!

That has happened to me also on Facebook and it has to be through their phone # because I don’t use any of the same photos. But the funny thing was that a guy showed up on my Friends Suggestions who was a regular client. He always said he was single, same in his profile on CC. But his FB photo was with his wife and showed he was married. It didn’t matter to me at all as he’s just a Cuddler but funny how he hadn’t been more careful.

I had a wife of someone I cuddled with add me on Facebook 😂🤣🙈

  • For folks not aware: if you have any Meta-owned apps on your phone, it is constantly scrubbing for data. Facebook in particular is notorious for this - it's how they do targeted advertising not just of you but if all your contacts. The only way to stop it is to uninstall the apps, and even then some phones will secretly reinstall the app because of agreements with Meta 🤦🏻‍♀️ Just disabling the contact sync feature will not stop the app from collecting data. You can try deep diving into the privacy and permission settings, but it's not a guarantee as once Meta has made a connection between your data and someone else's, there's no erasing it completely.

@snugglesafe8 I'm really sorry for your experience. It would be really scary and stressful to be in your situation.
Good that you have involved police in it. That would give some relief.

I would avoid responding to anonymous calls/texts/emails. No matter how many attempts are made. That's my way of wearing them down. Some bullies like confrontation. I would not give that option to them.

  • @NashGal23 @cuds23 - Facebook suggestions can be easily through the phone numbers. I really hope people don't give/use their actual phone numbers. This is so scary/unsafe to you all. So sorry.

@SunsetSnuggles I have tried researching on how to mute junk emails notifications on phone but no real way unless you use focus mode. What kind of phone do you use btw? iPhone/android. Looks like there is a better for android users though.

@cuddlefaery - Yes meta is scary.

  • @cuddlefaery i deleted Facebook over a year ago because it was getting really bad. Instagram is pretty bad too but at least it shows me more of what I want to see

  • @disneysamurai I deleted FB app and my phone kept reinstalling it, even if not signed in, which is how I found out it's baked into some UIs. 🤦🏻‍♀️ My FB has been locked down for years due to being a teacher, and yet I still regularly get friend suggestions for contacts even though I explicitly opt out of contact sync and contacts being able to search for me. It's frustrating as hell even as someone who is more aware of the realities of privacy on the internet.

I have an Android. I could just toggle off the sound and vibrate notifications for Outlook every night. Or heck, leave it off all the time...it's rare in this day and age to be awaiting an important e-mail. I would still see the notification, so I would know when I looked at my phone that I had new e-mails.

  • @SunsetSnuggles - There you go - you figured it out already. cool.

I never put notifications on for emails. Too many junk/spam. I am keeping a reminder to check everyday once if there are any important ones.

  • I feel bad for all the people who have faced this! Stay safe everyone! Report or call the police if you ever feel like you're in danger!

  • Yeah no that's definitely creepy and crazy! Sorry you're having to go through all that. Prayers that he stops and that you don't have any more issues going forward.

It's so important to protect your privacy and for them to respect your boundaries, and if not, you should report to local police services right away.
