In time CC will disappear if forums are removed…
🤣 The number of people who post in the forums and/or lurk in the forums is maybe 2-3% of the entire membership of Cuddle Comfort. Over the years the majority of the people I cuddled with didn’t bother with the forums or weren’t even aware of them. The forums could disappear and CC would carry on my wayward son.
@dd4johnson couldnt have said it better myself.
My personal suggestion would be if ones want the space to remain platonicnic and safe then keep prices fair, really $80 an hour is sufficient. Not too many professions making $80 an hour. And then I would also say one picture, maybe two at Max and those need to be head shots only. The provocative pictures along with the high pricing will lead some to think that more is available, whether it is or isn’t.
@TheFunCartel I concur, I live in the NYC area and none but one of the cuddlers I've spent time with (6 in total) were aware of the forums and to be real, I prefer it that way because some of these threads, this one included can spark fury like a cherry bomb with a short fuse. 😂
I do like engaging in conversation in the forums here because I've always been a community kind of guy. it's a natural habit to a city fella but I'm not gonna lie, I've seen a couple of threads that made me second guess even saying anything in here because someone itching for conflict would easily jump on someone because that person said something unconventional or in poor taste.
@HappyHikes i’d say you were right that any pro has a right to set their price to whatever they want it to be. But also people have a right to complain about pricing whether it be in this forum or otherwise. Because truth be told just like the author of this post, just because one says it or complains about it doesn’t mean anything is gonna change. Nobody’s gonna lower their price cause I complain and I live in a country that offers me a constitution affording me the right to complain. So that puts us at a stalemate. The fact is people are going to be people. And however, sad it may be that’s just the fact. The death penalty didn’t stop murder and neither will this post stop those pros who are in it for money and are willing to do whatever it takes to get it. Nor will it stop the men who think that there may be a little bit more can be had. Now on a sidenote, because I have lived and traveled outside the country quite a bit., Most countries have a negotiation process when it comes to those things that are transactional. Sometimes the price is set in stone, but most times things can be negotiated, not so much here in the U.S.
The comparison of murder to SW is wild 😂😂😂
@mccuddleman The thread is long. But worth a read before commenting. Your point has been addressed quite a bit. To make it again without being aware of the whole conversation doesn’t land well. There’s also a specific thread for pricing complaints. This isn’t it. And on negotiation, sure, some things in the US are negotiable. Car lots. Flea markets. But your doctor doesn’t negotiate her fee. The restaurant doesn’t negotiate the menu price. A cuddler can set a price and you can ask. They also have every right to say no. And that’s the end of it.
@mauvefox so let me get this right because you’re not liking what I’m saying now you’re trying to dictate what I can say. Yeah that’s par for the course with a lot of you all which is why I only get on here about once every 5 to 6 months. LMAO. But you’re right those things aren’t negotiable and neither is me posting in here so if you’re not liking what I’m saying do like grown adults Should do, keep it moving. . And thank you.
@mauvefox and also just a quick note, your doctor doesn’t negotiate their fee because they actually have a degree, pro cuddlers don’t. And if they’re charging a price claiming to provide quality service and they don’t, a consumer has a right to complain. Now I’m done.
@mccuddleman
Not me. House rules. There’s a specific thread.
You can absolutely carry on showing everyone who you are. Please do post away.
But you’re answering a lot of questions on why you feel so dissatisfied.
@mauvefox your last sentence just keeps being proved accurate over and over 🤌
@disneysamurai The site having forums makes it more credible. The other site looks sus, especially given the fact you have to pay the site directly to schedule something. The fact that Cuddle Comfort has forums shows there are real human beings here. On top of that it has a lot of info.
Anyway, to add to the discussion, professional cuddling isn't something that is easy to come by. There aren't that many of them. Because of that and the huge risk involved, they can charge whatever they want. It is a seller's market. If I can't afford it that's a me problem.
@TheFunCartel Its not about the number of people using the forums (surely a small fraction, and available to all) it’s about the forum being a good feedback (even with all the problems) in the long run it will help CC do better otherwise will lose out … forums provide a way for course correction, keeps it vibrant for a few as well … and at this moment discussing how to mitigate sw on here… even though we seem to be failing at it, sooner or later there will be a mechanism to mitigate sw on here.
@mccuddleman tgere are plenty of cuddlers that charge $80 hr and some less, so I’m not sure why you are complaining here and the other thread about fair prices. Why not just say “the ones I find attractive charge too much and I can’t afford or want to spend more than $80 hr to cuddle them.” I should be entitled to cuddle a hot woman for only 80 hr or less and if that’s not what you’re trying to say or put out there, it’s clearly what’s coming across.
@supadupa Can we put your comment on a billboard? It should be required reading. Basically their eyes are bigger than their wallets I would guess. They’ve admitted many times that they choose based on appearance but can’t afford the price. There are actually quite a few very caring fascinating and intelligent women here who don’t care to charge based on how they look.
Thank you @supadupa!!
The entitlement can certainly run deep. So much so that folks can convince themselves that’s not what’s driving them.
@Carrie_Anne @mauvefox :-)
@Solaris - "I mean, the female officer would have to cuddle for an hour or two if the guy didn't propose something illegal. I don't see that happening."
Lol, sting operations can last months. They can sacrifice a couple of hours to try to entrap someone.
I just can't see officers actually cuddling lol, that's what I meant. It wasn't about the time investment.
I could be wrong. Maybe they would cuddle.
@supadupa uh, nice looking man here. Drive nice, dress nice and my wallet is nice and fat. And guess what when I go to the gas station these days I complain about gas too, and that still doesn’t stop me from filling up this big body Benz that I drive. So try another approach. Lol
Drive nice, dress nice and my wallet is nice and fat.
Sounds like you are charging too much at your business.
@TheFunCartel also sounds like he's desperately trying to convince himself of something
@Solaris - If undercover female cops will befriend escorts and stand on the street with them for a successful sting, I'm sure cuddling would not be completely off the table either - in fact it may be preferable to standing on the corner.
@SpicyNSweet He’s also responding to a comment from another thread 🤷♀️ And his reply is focused solely on appearance, possessions, and money. When people show you who they are, believe them.
Let's get back on topic. The subject is "Ladies Please Stop Selling Sex Acts on This Site." This is not the price complaint thread. The next comment that complains about prices is going to win it's creator a timeout. - BlueIris
@mauvefox agreed
I've never had anyone behind closed doors during a session tell me that if I pay x amount we can do this or that so to speak.. Either everyone I cuddle with has been a pro or I'm just about as attractive as a snail.. All I can say is this ,if that ever happened I would get up and leave because in my mind I'm being set up.. By her, by law enforcement, or by all of the above.. And don't think that an overly ambitious district attorney and police chief wouldn't try to create an account on this site to try to bust people for soliciting. . Truth be told I'd bet good money that this site and the cuddle community as a whole is already on their radar.. In a lot of ways this is still the Wild Wild West and at the end of the day both pros and clients are meeting a total stranger online.. And that means we all have to be careful and report everyone , both pros and clients that are breaking this rule..
While my own experience with professional cuddling was respectful and proper, hearing about a coworker’s encounter with a former provider has made me hesitant to branch out. He was offered a tiered "upgrade menu" that moved from a standard platonic session to levels involving varying degrees of undress, including a totally naked session, alongside another individual who requested a premium for intimate kissing. These stories represent a clear violation of professional boundaries and make it difficult to feel confident booking with someone new, underscoring why it is so vital to vet a person's reputation and "karma" before meeting.
Really difficult to know who follows the rules.
So staying on topic it’s simple, cc allows people to just sign up and say that they’re a pro. There’s no 6 to 8 week course like most actual pro cuddlers take. I know because I’ve taken it myself. They just allow people to sign up and throw up a number that they think they should charge. So within that there will always be those that are going to provide extra and charge extra. Which to me says that cc needs to vet better the ones they allow to be pros. Or maybe put a program in place that ones who want to be pros actually have to go through and complete in order to become a pro. Or the other alternative is to just accept that in a free market such as capitalism provides these type of things will always take place and there’s not much you’re gonna be able to do to stop it.
Wow ⬆️ 🤑 🏎️ 🤗 😊
Before posting, read the mod warnings in a thread. Redacted because you posted something I warned about. - BlueIris I actually like when I see a Profile of a cuddler that states no sexual activity or acts. Least then im more certain theres no games.
