That is a GREAT example of the “poisoning the well” fallacy. It implies anyone who disagrees wants to blur the line between platonic cuddles and sex. No need to prove a point when you can just undermine the opposing position by questioning their motives.
@JohnR1972 huh? How is clarifying their original intent in creating this thread creating a poisoned well fallacy? They had a bunch of people reply who appeared to read the opposite intent, so they clarified.
I suggested we should call sex “sex” and we should call snacks and water “snacks and water”.
Is there really opposition to that?!
Nobody offered any cogent argument against clearer word choices. And nobody suggested any harm that might come to them or this site by doing so. And while we’re at it, nobody even attempted to respond to my Almond Joy / Mounds reference. That was solid. #ToughCrowd.

The term sexual favor sounds so odd to me. The definition of the word favor is approval, support or a kind act. So sex workers are selling sexual kind acts. I dunno, just sounds odd to me.
