I have a scheduled apt in 60m, but I haven't heard from the pro at all today and have no way to contact her outside the site. I did send my digits after the session was scheduled and Google does show my address when googling my number. It's be weird for her to just show up right? I know she lives just over an hour away.vI'm not sure when or if I should cancel the session, don't want her charged for no session.

    Professionals have a day or two's grace after the session, so that they can avoid being charged if something went wrong at the last minute.

    Given that it's a short notice (<12 hours) cancellation the site asks professionals to offer compensation in the form of a discount or additional time for a rearranged or subsequent session. Sometimes that works out, sometimes it doesn't.

    Best practice with all and every appointment of any kind is to confirm the night before, irrespective of whether it's your job to confirm or not. I've saved myself many a wasted day by always doing that.

    It sounds like she was just having a tough day and it all went a bit wrong. This is the only circumstance in which having other contact details is genuinely useful.

    I'm kind of going through that right now.. About 3 weeks ago I scheduled the session with a pro( I always plan ahead) we agreed on a day and time and said we were both looking forward to meeting each other and having a session.. About a week and a half ago I texted her just to be sure if we're still on for our session, I never received a response in return. Tomorrow is the day of the session and I logged on to her page to double-check how much the session would cost and I see she hasn't even been on this site for at least a week.. So I'm starting to wonder if she just forgot about this, got cold feet, or just changed her mind.. Tomorrow should be an interesting day..
