Is the use of pro misleading?

  • Imo, to a completely new cuddler non pro, "pro" is somewhat misleading as it does have the connotation that there is a standard, training, and specialization in a field, as well as oversight of such. In my 4 years of off and on cuddling I can say this site imo certainly doesn't actually have many pros. More like a lot of enthusiasts who charge money. My last few sessions were disappointing and the "pro cuddlers" seemed more focused on their own emotional/physical needs than mine. I do enjoy a symbiotic experience but felt totally lopsided. In my head I was joking to myself fo maybe asking for my pro cuddling fee to be paid at the end of a session.
I also think this site does a horrible job at vetting pros which endangers other pros and cuddlers alike. I've had sessions where the pro is a SW, where their pics aren't them irl (though not a physical appearance judge). And once a pro was hosting and took me to a building where she said she had a cuddle room she rented. Inside it was clearly a crack house type of thing. Was scary as hell and I was outta there but already paid upon meeting so I was out a decent chunk of money.ive also had no shows with no explanation. The karma system helps vet but far from perfect.

I believe that pros are manually approved by the mod team. Q for the mods - what criteria are used to determine approval? I’ve been on this site for a while now and can’t remember the sign up flow - do pros need to submit ID when signing up, or just active credit card?

I, too, would like to know what the site actually does to pass/fail someone for a pro status.

  • I'm new here and have yet to have a session as I'm still navigating things and keeping discernment in the forefront whilst rewarding profiles/interacting with messages.

Sleepysheep1 really solidified my growing concern about the potential concerns with cuddling men vs women. I really appreciate the in depth perspective and truthful experience.

I respect the pros for I understood before coming here there is great emotional and mental labor involved. I hadn't given thought to the "therapist" aspect of things and now that's giving me more insight to how I show up in engagement.
