  • What has been your cuddle pet peeves?

    The dander from it.

  • Anything related to smoking, right down to smelling like cigarettes

  • Leaving your shopping cart in between cars.. why can’t you just bring it back to the store ? Put it in the cart rack? No? Why?

Pet pet peeve? I recently adopted another senior cat 🐈‍⬛ the “owners “ had her since she was a kitten , she was a happy cat , until, one day they decided they didn’t want her anymore … Pet peeve is people who abandon their pets and dump them or drop them off at the animal shelter… the least you could do is bring them to a Rescue.., you’re still a jerk, but, a rescue is better than a shelter .. we all know why… not nice…

  • cuddle pet peeve

Wow, tough question. I don’t know if I have one. My cuddles on CC have been amazing.

  • Oh, 🤦‍♀️ ‘Cuddle’ pet peeve .. stinky cigarette/weed smell on clothes and stinky cigarette/alcohol breath… I can’t… just gross 🤮 stinky 😷

  • Yeah when the room smells like weed so I leave smelling like weed.

When they text “come on up!” etc but then I’m standing outside for like a solid minute and a half waiting to be let in. Feels so exposed 😆

Also, wet/damp hair. I’d never mention it in person though.

  • Being blocked by individuals that I've never even interacted with..

    silly

  • Having to wait outside(sometimes after sundown!) when I've communicated the time I'll be there several times.

Or when they ask for an extension at the end of the session.

  • @SweetCuddler33 as someone who used to work a couple jobs that involved going out and getting carts, I agree. I worked in a grocery store in a big strip mall and carts would end up a mile away from the store and the worst thing was when they had cigarette butts and other garbage left in them. Also working as a cashier, there’s people who will just leave their cart in the line at the register after they check out. These are usually the same people who will eat items in the store before checking out, including weighable produce.

The scheduling. When they confirm "for sure" they'll make it and keep bread-crumbing me with those phrases and actually not show up.

Also when people say they are busy, because we all are. If I make space for someone, I don't remind them that I'm busy. I just focus on the space I made and we can focus on having the best time.

Someone saying they are busy in certain ways can be a diminishing rude comment.

  • Cuddlers who have shopping carts in their cuddle space. Never encountered one, but since people are bringing up shopping carts, I guess it’s a thing. I do not approve of shopping carts in a cuddle space because it seems like a tool to help transport and dispose of client bodies.

(After plenty of getting to know you messaging going back and forth, and them already seeing the estimated distance)…….

….Pros then asking for a (sometimes very $$$) travel/Uber fee AFTER a booking is made.

Question for the mods: What is the CC policy or rule on transparency for the Pros on this please? Are they supposed to address this in their profile or at least pre-booking messaging? Thank you.

  • @WestsideMarc I second this. Not a fan of hidden fees and travel expenses that are out-of-the ordinary. I've had a cuddler also try to relegate the CC fee onto me.

  • When people reach out asking questions you have answers to on your profile, and then you tell them to read your profile in the kindest and most patient way possible and they say they glimpsed through it and continue to ask questions that Are already answered. 😭

  • @Brandi yes to all of that!! or they don't read it all, as clearly evidenced by the content of their message, and when you suggest they read it, they double down and insist that they did 🤣. sometimes even insist a 3rd or a 4th time that they read it and understood it while continuing to make the same mistakes over and over again.

  • @TheFunCartel
Thankfully, i also have yet to experienced a shopping cart cuddle, but i imagine they are uncomfortable and cramped. and not to mention the grid marks someone is going to have on their butt.
So I agree, they have no place in the cuddleverse.

  • I had a pro tell me that I was 3 minutes out of her "travel time limit". It would be $50 more. Suffice it to say, "bye"

  • Cuddle pet peeves about my pet: She always looks so very cuddly, but then when i try to cuddle with her she's just 75 pounds of joints, teeth, claws, and a LOT of fur. like a lot.

@mauvefox Grid marks are uncool! They are one step away from grill marks and I am not beef or pork.

@AntiqueWpatina WHAT? That person needs a lesson in relativity and flexibility. Good grief!

@WestsideMarc by sheer luck I happened to see your question above. We don't patrol the forums looking for things and most posts are never read by a Mod.

Professionals' charges are a matter for them. However, all charges should be mentioned at least in principle in the profile, and agreed clearly before Booking. Not mentioning them until after Booking is scammer-ish and is borderline Reportable on its own. (I.e. definitely Reportable if accompanied by other scammer-ish behaviour.) In some jurisdictions it may even be unlawful.

Actual expenses incurred e.g. cab or bus fares do not need to be included in the session fee for site reporting purposes, and are not subject to the site's fee.

@Huggycatbear a professional trying to foist the site fee onto you is very likely Reportable on the grounds of attempting to avoid the fee. If the rate listed is $100 and they try to charge you $115, then the rate they are actually charging is $115.

  • @CuddleDuncan I think what @WestsideMarc might be driving at as well is one should be able to cancel without repercussions if unexpected charges are added on post-booking. What say ye on that?

  • edited April 29

@TheFunCartel @WestsideMarc it would depend on the whole context (Moderating decisions are always more complex than simple examples) but if we take the simple example then yes, I would most heartily agree.

If the session was more than two days ahead the client can cancel without repercussions anyway.

I haven't seen the term 'natural justice' used in any site documents, but I have observed that it's very much an underlying principle of the Mod team's ethos.

    Ignorance.

@CuddleDuncan thank you for your reply and confirming this should be addressed and agreed to PRIOR to the booking confirmation.

This has happened to me a number of times and with amounts varying up to $80! - and I have canceled because of this (I try to avoid cancellations).

Not only that, but when they pull those shenanigans AFTER the booking has been confirmed, the frustration from that immediately kills my desire to cuddle with them so in the end everybody loses. Next time I will report and thank you again for the input.

    It’s all about transparency.

  • Cuddling is all about trust, and doing something like that breaks the trust before it's even formed.

  • @WestsideMarc That is so frustrating. I'm so sorry that something you would anticipate with someone has them to be so short-sighted that it kills the mood. Had they thought about establishing rapport, you would be a repeat customer and they would get much more than that travel fee.

    Make it make sense.

  • @mauvefox 😂😂😂😂 And that’s only half the battle. Got to love our pets ♥️ 100%

  • My pet peeves on the carpet weekly

  • @pmvines 😂😂 Bad boy.
