I've said it once, I'll say it one more time. I will not engage in conversation that I see is ideological/politically connected.
It's time to let it go. This is my boundary.
That's an example of being rigid, which is a hallmark of willful ignorance.
Growing and learning is really hard for some people guys.
It’s a real challenge to stretch their very tiny constructs of the world.
It’s so much easier to dismiss facts that don’t vibe with their incorrect opinions and to just keep moving the goal posts and confusing the conversation and using jargon terms inappropriately to think that they’ve proved their point.
But the good news is that we now have so many examples in this thread of what willful ignorance looks like. 😃
I've never called anyone's viewpoints willful ignorance. I've called a refusal to learn willful ignorance.
