Deferred payment.

How would you pros feel about a deferred payment or a payment plan option for clients that want to cuddle but who are low on cash. I’m not asking the site to add this as an option, I’m just asking how pros would feel about having an agreement like this with your clients. I am quite sure that if you did agree to this, it would only be with clients that you completely trust since it would basically be on an honor system.

  • NOPE😂😂

  • If set it up with 2 regulars in the past where they made weekly payments towards a monthly session. We had already had at least 3 sessions and they paid weekly prior to the session.

I don't know if that's quite what you meant

  • I only did it once. If someone doesn’t have the amount at the beginning of the session, then I will cancel. My cuddle rate includes my travel, gas, parking fees, other fees, and then the rest goes towards my time.

One of my first guest experiences, as soon as I arrived he asked if he could pay after the session. When I said no, suddenly he couldn’t pay me at all. He was trying to get a free session. He was also supposed to give me a small travel fee which he didn’t provide as a deposit. Lesson learned.
So I’d have to say nope too. Personally.
Edit: I know you said for trusted clients. I don’t have regulars yet, haven’t been here long.

As for the weekly payments up front for a monthly session, sure some pros may say that’s ok for them. I’d say just save the money weekly until you have what you need and then pay at the session. It would make me feel weird, like they’re not responsible enough to save money. What if they’ve made 2 out of 4 scheduled payments and then say hey I actually need that money back for something I can’t see you this month. Just, no thank you.

  • For a regular, I would say yes. But that's definitely a case by case basis and the reasoning behind it, if they've had a big unexpected expense and still could use a cuddle, I would go for it.

  • Maybe if the payment plan was arranged in advance paid off in full prior to the session

  • I could see that if they pay up front in installment and third party releases funds after agreed session. Like how PayPal used to with eBay..

  • Back when I was actively a pro, I offered an installment payment plan for returning clients - but the full payment needed to be made before the session. But I also offered tiered pricing, which allowed for more financially stable clients to help subsidize lower income clients, and discounts for things like referrals & pre-booking multiple sessions. Equitable access was important to me, so I did what I could to be as inclusive as possible while still valuing my own time and resources. These sort of pricing structures aren't for everyone, and they took extra work, but they were worth it for me at the time as I enjoyed paying forward what I had received when I was in need 🤷🏻‍♀️

  • That’s crazy even the thought of requesting it. No pay no cuddles. As someone said above… there is driving, making time, getting ready, shower, and all the other stuff has to be justified.
But paying upfront is also crazy. Atleast two of the cuddlers the pros have collected the money n left. It’s sad. They don’t understand the long term cuddle relationship. Such as repeat cuddlers. They looked like they were in need of money as both begged of me not to cancel the session.
The money has to be paid. I always leave it at the table before the start of the sessions. If I loose the cash then I say oh it’s only the money. No sweat about it.

  • I have been blessed to meet some amazing cuddlers from this site. Truly, genuinely nice n compassionate. If sometimes if there is no feisty atleast you gave a go. Not every cuddle session is going to be exciting, but most are….

  • Not showing up with payment or intention to pay and making prior arrangements for a deferred payment plan are two very different things.

I had a cuddle session, once, that I showed up for and client didn't have money with him to pay at beginning of session. He wanted to go to the ATM afterwards. I kindly informed him that we could handle it now or I could leave. Which he happily went to the lobby and came back with payment. But I don't get why someone wouldn't be prepared with payment when a different arrangement wasn't made first.

  • I've done trade of services with a chiropractor before and another time for work on my car. I set it up as a regular cuddle and the cc fee still came out of my bank account.

  • Full payment at the beginning of the cuddle session please/thank you! 😃

  • We ain’t puttin’ no cuddles on Lay a Way 😂

  • I have a few Cuddlers I do this for.

  • I go to a hair salon that only does hair dye jobs and blow outs. You can pay as you go at a premium or they have a monthly fee when you can go once every 6 weeks and it's slightly discounted plus it makes payments a lil easier to manage.

There are lots of pros that vibe regular loyal clients a discounted price. My first couple years doing this I had regulars I would allow to do this with as well. Pay weekly and they got 2 sessions a month at a discounted rate. It was fantastic for me. Because it was consistent income. And they saved 20% a session and was able to divide it over a couple weeks. The were most the time still paying me ahead of the cuddles just divided over payments.

It's not for everyone .. worked for me until I took several months off for a big surgery. Then regulars found new pro cuddlers as I would expect with me not being available

  • KlarnaComfort 😂

  • I've done this with someone I completely trusted and it backfired, so I'd be very hesitant to try again. Someone mentioned tiered pricing, discounts or subsidized payments all of which I now do instead. I just don't think payment plans are feasible.

  • A year subscription with monthly payments lol

  • They can squirrel it away with me in advance and when it's enough, come cuddle.

  • @Comet85 ROFL 😂 sounds perfect!

I would be happy to trade for cuddles, any dentists/ physiotherapists/ chiropractors need a cuddle ? 😅
