Watched this movie with my boy on Sunday. A+++. Absolutely loved it. Excellent to see a proper adaption of a video game I've been playing since middle school be properly represented in movie form. Hearing that the third movie has been greenlit. With everything I've seen about the new street fighter movie this is a great time for us gen x fans of these fighting franchises.

    I would love to see the movie. I'm having a movie cuddle tomorrow. I always let them pick the movie. She hasn't seen Project Hail Mary yet, so that's what we'll be seeing. Maybe next week MK2

    UGH this movie was such a banger. It was so close to dethroning 95'. I felt the storytelling was better in 95.

    The Kung Lao v. Liu Kang fight is the best Mortal Kombat fight out of all the movies. Dethroned Liu Kang v. Reptile.

    The only sucky part is that it's stuck with 2021 which was a letdown in my books.

    One thing is they’re actually doing these franchises justice with the recent movie adaptations. The adaptations in the 90s sucked, although I like the first mortal Kombat movie.
